  1. I played with one at Wal-Mart yesterday night. I was impressed, but not blown away or anything. The asthetics of the device are okay, but it is smaller than I thought it would be. I guess I have big hands. Anyway, I may get one when games are more abundant, but the PSP tempts me more now.
  2. Welcome to the forums. Please state your operating system and system specs. Furthermore, please reinstall via the directions in the NetMD faq, found within the NetMD forum.
  3. Hello and welcome to the forums. Please uninstall via the directions in the NetMD faq, found within the forum that this post resides.
  4. dvdsrule: http://www.sony.net/Products/Hi-MD/capacity.html#3
  5. Stop apologizing! I gotta find this misconception that we'll blast you if you post. We're here to help, and welcome to the forums. Before we continue, have you reinstalled via the directions in the NetMD faq?
  6. Google listing is nox fixed. Woohoo! Anyway, I made some changes to the Sosumi template, but I'm still tweaking a bit. Bear with me. Most important changes: search for new posts has been added to the overall header, and there is finally a division line between the post subject/post time/online/quote etc. Still kinda tweaking this for optimal look. I also put that pesky jumpbox in a keen place. Additionally, the board has been upgraded to phpbb 2.0.11; please report any bugs here.
  7. You should get a live cam and we can watch it for you.
  8. Try going to start and then run, and put in sfc /scannow
  9. There is no doubt it is worth every penny for this behemoth. Battery life is from 10 - 15 hours, too. Surprised they can cram this many features in 7.5 pounds.. This sure is one device made for males. Looks like something from Mad Max..
  10. A cotton swab and high quality alcohol will suffice for lens cleaning as well.
  11. I won't turn this into an anti-Mac thread, but I honestly just do not see a long-term future for the equipment or the operating system. Yes, it's good for a niche group, and I agree with that wholeheartedly, but I just don't see it escalating beyond anything but that. It'll be interesting to see where Apple ends up after the iPod wave is over. It will happen, you know. :rasp:
  12. ROFL, did you get the extra 5mhz from the turbo button? ahahaha
  13. I think a reevaluation of the MD format is in order, to the tune of Hi-MD and Sonicstage 2. Moving this to the correct forum..
  14. I'd jump out of a moving car before downloading anything made by Real on my computer. Seriously. :rasp:
  15. We're still having issues with the Google listing. Damnit. Anyway, I updated this a bit and I hope that you all check it out for some insight on how to keep that computer of yours free of malicious junk.
  16. Yes, this would be good. I'm going to do some searching this weekend to finish out that thread listing topic for recommended reading btw. I appreciate your consistant help Dex, it makes the community much stronger.
  17. MD units don't die in a short period of time if taken care of properly, and even with some slight abuse they'll last more than a few years. I say go with a NH900 from datavis.com [only like $239], then put the rest towards a mic. There's a ton of recommendations in the Live Recording forum that will help you with your mic choice, and you can always check out reactivesounds.com [banner should be at the top of the forums].
  18. I'm thinking with the questions you've listed that the MD format is simply not for you [as you'd have to transcode flac, mp3 and ogg]. The write process isn't unbearable, but it isn't steadfast either. Something like the iAudio M3 or M5 or other alternative digital audio players would probably suit you better. @ #3: Line out or headphone out will be sufficent in most scenarios. @ #4: I've seen the usual tape adapters, FM transmitters, the eventual Hi-MD DIN unit and more. Most of the standard car accessories that exist for DAP's and such exist for MD, and most are interchangeable, actually.
  19. Since I have never used either softwares [lack of Hi-MD :rasp:], is it worth it for me to mention Sony's utility?
  20. Expect one for my MZ-E7W soon..
  21. I wish I was capable of altering the search, because I do agree that it sucks, but I don't have the expertise to make a new engine nor alter this one. That's more or less a phpbb issue. I will look into it, though.
  22. iTunes is no different, Cor..and the same goes for most online music stores it seems.
  23. I prefer SorryStage myself. :rasp: Anyway, for reference, it's called Sonicstage 2.2, and like Cori said, you should upgrade to it.
