  1. Please don't waste your time creating an offline installer when we will have one here, hosted, in a week or so. Thanks.
  2. Yahoo! News has a thoughtful article describing the retirement the engineer Nobutoshi Kihara, whom manifested the Walkman experience (amongst a myriad of other accomplishments) in the 80's. Full text follows.+++
  3. Welcome, anodes. What is your price range for a portable unit?
  4. Don't worry about it. Pepperoni's Tavern is a website I'm working on for a local company, of which uses the same host that I put my Sonicstage files on. My friend (who runs the hosting service kreativenetworks.net) hosts the full installers for free. Sonicstage full installers put on this server would kill our bandwidth bills.
  5. We got hacked a few times today. Sorry about the trouble..I have taken the necessary steps to ensure that this should not occur again under current circumstances. I have also made an addendum to the registration process that should subside the amount of spam topics being created. Thank you for your understanding.
  6. What problems are you having, specifically? Let me help you troubleshoot, at least. What version of Sonicstage? What is your system specs? What is not working for you aside from Artist Link?
  7. It is extremely frustrating to get hacked because most attacks are immediately in the public eye or disrupt functionality to the forum. I feel embarassed each and every time it occurs.
  8. I'm taking care of it. Sorry about the trouble.
  9. Do you want 3.4? I can set it up so you can download it. Be nice. PM me if you want it.
  10. Hello, The optimal way to put music files on your NH900 is Sonicstage or Simple Burner; Windows Media Player cannot facilitate this. I'm not sure how you got Sonicstage to "find any files in Windows Media Player or in Overview." I suggest you start by putting some wma, mp3, etc files on the Desktop (an easily accessible location via the drop down menu when you choose files via Music Source > Import Music Files) and then try and transfer those to your NH900. Please re-read your instruction manual for assistance with transferring music files to your unit via Sonicstage. I find it amazing you still move music around via real-time.
  11. Minidisc.org is pleased to announce a complete standalone installation file for Sonicstage CP 4.0, allowing you to install the program on Windows computers lacking a connection to the Internet. Simple Burner 2 with PCM support is also bundled. You must be a registered member of the forum (free, takes under a minute) to access the download.+++ File graciously hosted by our excellent and HIGHLY recommended webhosting friends at: If you are a registered member of the forums (free, takes under a minute to complete), you can access this download in our downloads section, directly available here: http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/details.php?file=21 A big thank you to Daijoubu for putting this together.
  12. There will be no high capacity Walkman announced before Christmas, so, it is difficult to forsee how pricing will be adjusted.. p.s. Please post this great content in the comment section within topics, Sony people read it.
  13. I saw a commercial for her music at some asnine time during the night..it sounded pretty seriene. I'm not sure if I could divulge in the entire album as I fear it may all sound the same after a couple of tracks. Her voice was really intoxicating, I will admit.
  14. I would ignore it; sounds and looks like spam after I checked it out. I will add that URL to the banned list in Google's Adsense control panel so you don't see it anymore.
  15. Let's talk about your system specs and so on for a moment. This will tickle some people when I ask this, but please state your specs according to the FAQ. You said you had XP, but what service pack? How many processes are running on your computer when you ctrl + alt + delete?
  16. Please continue discussion in the blog entry. Thanks.
  17. Thanks. I'm having some issues with SQL at the moment but it should be live soon. I just want to make sure this is clear..I want a big community involvement, editing access will not be just limited to the aforementioned groups. If you desire participation, just PM me.
  18. I'll edit the code soon so that individuals who have not seen ads as of late will continue to not see them on the new skin.
  19. New skin, dubbed SH-MDCF. Check 'er out. I will be making further changes to the skin soon, but it is good for now.
  20. Beginning soon, there will be an ongoing project to convert the Equipment Browser to Wiki format.+++ I've investigated the options, and it appears that there is an add-on for Invision Power Board that allows a seamless log-in between the forum and a MediaWiki (like the system on wikipedia.com). I've always toyed around with the idea of the Equipment Browser becoming more streamlined and easier to access, edit, and so on. I believe this is the key. I will be purchasing the add-on and setting up the Wiki soon. Obviously, this is a monumental task that will require alot of effort, but if a few good people work together it shouldn't be too difficult. If you are a Premium Member or VIP, you will have full editing access. I will construct a set of guidelines and perhaps a format we can all adhere to. Is there anyone else who would like to participate?

    Italy

I'll be in Italy in late October. Anyone want to meet up?
  22. Welcome. Cheryl, I think that this will be of interest to many who are new, or perhaps in your situation as well. A little off topic, but is the forum easy to use through this screen reader? If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send me a private message and I will most certainly attend to them.
