  1. Pinch off a NH1, surely there must be one that is gathering dust..or I guess in your case, getting too much sun.
  2. Nice find. Continue discussion here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=16409
  3. SonicState has a brief MZ-M200 (aka MZ-RH1) video review available from SNAMM 2006 for your viewing pleasure.
  4. I thought this was a pretty neat article; be sure to reply if you ever use any of this info or have tips of your own.
  5. Beautiful scans. You mind if I hotlink those or should I host them here, bland? Thanks for revealing how gorgeous those really are; where is the Hi-MD version? (wah)
  6. TDK Japan has updated their MD Media info page with a new sublime MD media series. Pictures can be found within..+++ TDK "わ" [WA] | 2006 Series TDK Japan has updated their MD Media info page with a new sublime MD media series. This new series is simply known as "わ" or WA; and it's available in both 74min and 80min variant - 5pack and 10pack.
  7. Here's me with an old friend..
  8. Forum member Aaron (aka raintheory) has posted a keen pictorial comparing the MZ-RH1 and MZ-1.+++ Please leave comments in the linked topic. Thanks!
  9. I went to Six Flags over Georgia on Saturday morning/afternoon and decided taking a video whilst on a rollercoaster would be a good idea; it came out pretty well. fyi - the coaster is the "Georgia Scorcher". http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...2822894&n=2
  10. For a few days, the forum was compromised via the Exploit-BO.gen trojan. The hackers (same as before) planted iframe html code in the forum's header through an exploit in the forum software to autolaunch this malicious process. We've installed server-side anti-virus and numerous background applications have been patched accordingly. We will be taking a more aggressive stance towards these actions to ensure that if this does occur in the future, our reaction is swift and the damage is minimal. Thank you for your understanding and support, and we sincerely apologize for any woes induced by this nuisance.
  11. Pata, Russians hacked the forum again and put in an iframe html code that made some nasty stuff pop up when using the forum.
  12. I have eliminated the issue and also installed clamav (a server side antivirus) on the machine.
  13. I would officially like to welcome richyhu as a new moderator at MDCF.
  14. stream1ine, this is your fault. After reading your comment in response to my speeding ticket, I did some research and came to realize that the Valentine 1 is a gift from god and no driver with a quick car should be without one. It does carry a high price tag, but after reading reports that it can sniff K + Ka bands from miles away, I'm sold. It also has a directional arrow system to tell you where the radar source is emanating from, as well as a counter for the different signals it picks up (so, if there was two cop cars ahead with radar on, it'd show a 2 on the display). Laser signals, which are hard to detect, can be detected by this device if the signal bounces off another car and scatters. Should be here on Friday..
  15. I should have done this a long time ago. It benefits the both of us, as the groups that I've excluded from seeing ads usually don't click on them anyways (which means a higher clickthrough ratio for the ads = alot more $) and you guys don't see ads. Beautiful. Also, the ad placement at the top of the forum that is hidden for the aforementioned groups has proven itself much more successful in other areas (downloads, lofi section of the forum) so there should be a substancial boost in montly ad revenue. If things are successful enough, the additional money could be used for contests, etc.
  16. Administrators, Moderators, Premium Members, Retired Moderators, and VIP's (very important posters, hehe) will no longer see advertisements within the forum.
  17. OY! They are my favorite band in the world. I love you, A440. When did you see them?
  18. Our information about Minidisc no longer being released in Australia wasn't based solely upon your words; I have other Sony contacts in Australia and I discussed the matter with them as well and they had given me the same caliber of information, if not more. When I said it was hogwash, I meant that we (the informed) misjudged the situation, and we got alot of people in a tiff..it wasn't a shot at you, or my other contacts. It's not good ethics to lead people in one direction and tell them that things will not change, only for it to do so later. It looks bad for everyone involved; we collectively made a mistake by speaking so authoratively. p.s. If further discussion is necessary, let's speak via PM/IM.
  19. We were aware of how to do this and contemplated releasing it to the community, but the Euro RH1 comes at 4.8mW now compared to the 5mW worldwide. The difference would be extremely hard to tell, I imagine.
  20. If an SDK is released, I can promise you something will come out for fb2k. I will create a substancial reward for that effort. I will investigate the plugin issue. It should be working, stay tuned.
  21. Did you try renaming it to .omg? dex otaku has been able to load these files onto his NH700, you must be doing something wrong..
  22. I just had to note, this topic has reached over 100,000 views. Absolutely stunning; a big F-U to whoever says this format is dead. E-tailers are reporting unprecedented sales and interest has never been higher. This forum is truly an testiment to product revitalization through the word of consumers.
  23. happy birthday old chum, birthday spanks are in order. Pics of the watch(es)? I love timepieces..
