  1. using which format? LP2, LP4? definitely not SP when it comes to 70 tracks...
  2. ^really? o_O well, hope you're enjoing em, bland. '04 biancas look nice -- kinda like ES discs anyway, i second w/ kurisu on the TDK bitclubs -- though i need more blanks to pick a clear favourite; though the bitclub is right up there!
  3. as nismo stated, they are very comfortable; when i had the EX71s, my standard listening volume was at 15/30 (hell, i've done 18/30; bad idea), and i had no problems in terms of pain -- well, except for a slight headache from the bass. i wish they would supply foamies for the EX71; they cant stay in my ear whilst exercising
  4. listening to a chantal kreviazuk vs sarah mclachlan compilation
  5. maybe not reality, but the World tourist model of the NH700 is supplied with the 40ELK -- and looking at stock photos from sony's eCatalog site, it appears to work properly w/ the NH700 Jyler, audiocubes sells the 40ELK remote for about £42-ish -- but that's before shipping, and well, you're back at square one there.
  6. that's why i'm wondering. they put it on their PCDPs but not on a Hi-MD player. i hear it works properly too (well, a 53EL on a NH700). or is it because the 53EL/55ELK doesnt have the "Hi-MD" input on the LCD like the 38EL(K) does... and yes, the D-EJ720 is supplied w/ the RM-MC53EL only
  7. ^SlowMo, i scaled that spinhead image significantly and here it is in the 150px flesh: what do you think?
  8. the NH1 had an OLED? i never heard of that.
  9. a belated goodbye to my MZ-N10 -- it's been over a year since i had to sell it. a welcoming hello to my 2nd MZ-E75 that i got on monday. the green one now has a twin sister!!!
  10. i bring a backpack everywhere i go; so i clip my remote vertically from the right pack-strap
  11. i agree. why arent the new flagship hi-md units supplied with the RM-MC55ELK remote, though the D-NE20 is supplied with it?
  12. the_stamp, very creative avatar. i wonder how you put the stamp outline... anyway, my avatar is Ping, a character from the online comic Megatokyo. i had this avatar for more than a month now -- quite a while for me
  13. it's used for the D-NE20, and D-NE920 atrac3+ PCDP
  14. i'm not sure about the onkyo decks using USB... but i'm sure those hi-md play-only units are useful; i'll bet people pair it up w/ a hi-md recorder (ie NH1) for recording only and use the player to relieve stress on the recorder
  15. neither; they should've been stocked w/ the new RM-MC55ELK -- stupid sony
  16. ^i doubt the remote uses OLED as well -- it's clearly a 35ELK w/ backlight maybe the DH10 has the headphone/line-out...
  17. very sleek; especially the black. but...must....resist......temptation still not converting, though:)
  18. i'll bet. it would be premature for sony to release 2 hi-md players when Hi-MD is still early in the game; and from the look of this very small pic: this has to be the rumoured "EH10" (if that is the real name)
  19. i cant believe neither of these new units are supplied with the 53EL/55ELK remote...
  20. i agree w/ zombietycho on the fact that the camera is a gimmick; i'll bet aside from the colour screen, it's a carbon-copied RH10..
  21. America's plans for iraq are recorded on the disc -- seized it in the nick of time *though i remember seeing this before...
  22. there is a Become.com Bot, and an Ask Jeeves on right now
  23. i guess it's red b/c you're under the group "financial contributors"; just like admin's have theirs italicizied (sp?) bold and blue, mods in bold light blue, VIPs in green
  24. i wish i didnt have to; but my mums car still has a tape deck so a mix tape or two wont hurt; i'm in limbo w/ 3 or more different types of audio formats -- cassette, CD, MD, mp3(if that counts) somethings gotta give, i try to convince my mum to get a 2 din (cassette/CD) deck in her car, but it's quite expensive..
