  1. saw the sow at the Hungry Iguana while we had dinner, agree with most, wasn't impressed with fergie, time for her to retire, she's had her two minutes, did enjoy the rest though Enjoy your mixings on that one, Bob

  4. aww shucks guys, jest trying to be nice, to me it sure beats the alternative. Graphis 8, no problemo on the usb cable, got tons of that style around All the best to you my friends, Bob
  5. You can do it realtime into the line in of your sputer, or you can get an RH1 and do it digitally. It's all in the forum on both accounts Bob
  6. in a nutshell AFAIK yes to both, but I think the RM40ELK remote makes it easier to adjust levels Bob
  7. Does it work on S.U. and kids too, would be a neet Calvin device if it did! To dream!! Bob
  8. Once you have it on the puter you can add breaks if neccesary, rename etc, no problems, then yu can either burn and use simpleburner, or use SS to put them back on MD Bob
  9. If all you want is downloadability the NH 600 will do you fine, the 700 adds mic and line inputs. Any of the lower number HiMD units (600, 700, 800, 710, etc) should work for you. And they should be easy to find on ebay etc. You can also check the classifieds on the forum, some deals come by occasionally, I just got a 600D that I paid $50.00 USD. The true answer is that the RH1 is the best, and you would never regret it, Happy hunting, Bob
  10. I'm drooling, what a neet find, it's fun finding stuff like that, Bob
  11. The new versions of SS, (3.4 and up) are quite easy to work with, and provided you don't edit your material before you upload it you shouldn't have any problems. My NH1's and NH-600 are definitely quieter than my 707. Welcome, and enjoy, Bob
  12. and yet they say MD is dead, off with their heads I say!!! Bob
  13. Got the 600 that I dealt with graphis today, post office delayed for some strange reason, 600 looks good, and a couple of bonuses, recommend dealing with him Bob
  14. Just noticed your co-ordinates, a kiwi, neet, in the 70's my wife lived all over New Zealand gor a couple of years. And now some friends of mine who have a house on Little Cayman own a winery in NZ. Beautiful country Take care, Bob
  15. and sometime today we hit 58,000, welcome all, and all potential recruits for M.D.A. !!! Bob
  16. As far as I know, most puters have a stereo mic/line in, so a stereo 1/8 tp 1/8" should do the trick. As for digital uploading, RH1 is the best Good luck, Bob
  17. And with that YOU are an honorary charter member Of the M.D.A. Welcome to the machine, Bob
  18. Glad to have you, Take care, and enjoy, Bob
  19. Slide open the shutter, look deep into the lovely surface beneath, that is where the answer lies, you must look deeeeeep Bob

Life is good with your MD Bob Use the source Luke (with apologies to GL et al) BTW KAIWAI if you're using google earth, put your co-ordinates down (maybe we should start MDearth!!! Bob
  21. Hi Kawai, If you pledge allegiance to the addiction of MD (M.D.A. for short) you to can be the regional acting secretary general for your locality. All you have to do is beware that this is a good addiction, that it will keep you off the streets, and you will proclaim MD to all Welcome Bob
  22. Happy Birthday Karl Myer, hope it's a great year 4 you Bob
  23. but he did give it a thumbs up, and liked it at 64, like you say let's see what he thinks at higher bitrates and live recording. It is nice to see someone willing to go against the grain, and like the product, Bob
  24. Do the discs play on the original recorder? Try recording in SP if there is an option,> Do you use Sonic Stage or Simple Burner, if so go to at least version 3.4, and select SP on the menu Good luck, Bob BTW, welcome!!!
