Be calm "...Must have it , Gotta have , Somebody STOP MEEEEEEEEEEE)", remember the mantra of MDA, it is an addiction, but it is a good thing, it keeps me off the streets, it keeps me busy MDMDMD Breathe slowly, buy it and be happy Bob

You can do the Low Volta method of copy, just take the disc from the 700 and put it into the 600, works every time, takes about 3 seconds. I f you truly need 2 versions of the same disc it is slightly more complicated, what version of SS do you have, I imagine the newer versions (3.4 and up) should do what you need. If you have the original material it may be just as easy to recreate the disc Good luck, Bob

Do you have the N1 or the NH1? The NH1 has a special USB cable that goes to the deck, there is nowhere on the charging stand for the cable. Usually what comes standard with the units are the deck, headphones, a Sonicstage disc, a USB cable, an optical cable and a minidisc. HTH Bob

Sony DPA-300 MD-DATA Recorder, Medical Grade, NEW:$29.95
bobt replied to jameszrg's topic in Classifieds
cool, will have to see my finances next week, do you send out of states??? Bob -
Hopefully I'm not wrong, but I think with 3.4 and up there are no restrictions, best way is to try it and see, SS isn't like w*****s, that you can only use your copy on one puter. Good luck, and let us know how it works out. Bob. BTW If you have SS on all you puters, wouldn't it be easier to manage it using MD's?

MZ-M100 error attempting to transfer undamaged tracks
bobt replied to illustrata's topic in Software
Your best bet may probably be to record it realtime into your soundcard, then use whatever Mac uses as a sound manipulation program to do your final edit, or re-edit. Good luck, Bob -
At least you have radio!! I get internet radio when I can, and put much music so I can listen going to work, and at work, gotta have tunes Bob

I agree, got one in my Maruti, much more basic than your ride, but if you have power and ground, it should work. My instructions also said once everything is hooked ip, to press the rest button under the faceplate, didn't do it but maybe !!! If that doesn't work, PM me and I'll look at my installation paper tomorrow and see if I can walk you through it. Happy trails Bob

You will need a unit with a line in, probably your best bet is an NH-700 or 800, these are Hi-MD and once you learn to love them you might use the computer and new version of Sonic Stage and really utilize it, Good luck, Bob

He's playing, name should tell you , guitars and other instruments!! Take care, Bob

I don't partake any more, but when I did some of my faves were Makeson Stout, Labatts Old Stock, Pilsner Urquell, Labatts Bock Beer, good stuff all, Bob

All things being equal, to me the biggest difference between line in, and mic recordings, is you get more of a sense of "live" with a mic recording, with line in you generally don't get a lot of crowd noise, unless you have a good mixer and mics that don't cut off the crowd. To me both have there advantages, if I can get permission I like line in because it leaves me free to enjoy the event without worrying about talking etc, but if I really want the being there fell, mic is the way to go. Absolutely right. couldn't have said it better, That's why I hate most of the "unplugged" albums Bob

We need a sample of your mixes Rayzray, Please!!! Bob
-
They are definately no worse than some early cd's, or badly produced LP's, the reason I like em is because they are rare, and going down the road in my Maruti, they sound pretty darn good. JMHO Bob

What version so SS do you have, and have you tried simple burner? You could also try doing a copy of the audiobook and try transfering it. Good luck, Bob

Hi There, AFAIK the only unit now being manufactured bu Sony is the RH1. there are a lot still available from some retailers that picked up the stock from Sony. You could also go the ebay route or check the classifieds here from time to time. Have fun, Bob
