Ivan, you can use both batteries at the same time. And yes, it can be overpowering with some music. However, it won't make Etymotics rock since they need an equalizer.

I have it, though it hasn't seen any use in months. The bass boost in this unit features some smart adjustment system which boosts the bass according to the volume of the track played, so you don't get deafening bass if you crank the sound up. The remote lights up in a lovely blue shade, similar to the Indi-glo watches. One of the first and best units JVC pumped out. Rock on. \m/ \m/

I use only NiMH batteries on anything that takes AA's. Haven't bought a battery in four years. However, I am sure you can find them for even cheaper at Meijer or Fry's electronics, for those in the USA.

Great seller, very patient and courteous. Awesome deal, thanks for the NHF800. Still putting discs together with it.

My doggy nose tells me it's highly suspicious. Remember that "Hi. You have a nice site. but it very hard to use!!111 *link to spam*" guy? They're just testing the waters. Exorcise it.

No veo el caso de este topico. Flach, que deseas decirnos? Ya vimos tu sitio anteriormente.

I want it but first need to make the money. Will let you know by tomorrow, ok?
-
I think I'll get it. Need to get some things done. Can I claim dibs on this for 48 hours?

Have you tried formatting from the computer?

So I am browsing the web late last night, and I find an NH600, used with 5 1gb discs on Eby. For 30 dollars buy it now plus shipping. I buy it, the seller requires immediate payment, and then proceed to Paypal... Only to find that "We're sorry, we're currently having problems and cannot process your payment. Please try again. Error number blah blah blah." Now the NH600 is gone. Stupid paypal and their crap. It's their problem, not mine! I need to kill someone.

Anything on the skins? Pretty please?
-
Damn the lack of money.
-
Could be the headphone jack, too. Or the D/A converter. Oy.
-
Pfft. Got ZoneAlarm? Just block all access or have it ask anytime that SS wants to access the net.
-
My laptop crashed when tried to access it. Also, my desktop didn't get infected at all, could it be because I'm using firefox?
-
That, and no DRM lock of any type, so you can transfer, backup or archive your music.

Mods, if this is not ok, I'll be glad to delete it. I am moving and need some cash. For sale, a Sony PS2 in excellent condition. Hasn't given me any problems, but all I play is Final Fantasy XI off the official Hard Disk drive. Includes one memory card, one controller and all the cords, PS1 game, one PS2 game, the network adapter and a VERY, VERY nice extra. PM for all the details. You won't regret it. 135 will make it yours. The Xbox also has a very nice extra too. The laser is in the process of being replaced with a brand new Samsung drive, which is known for its reliability and quality. This box can become the only media player you'll ever need, ready right out of the box to play your music and media files, in addition to DVDs, of course. Has one controller and all the cords. PM for all the details and price. Will take paypal if funded by balance or checking account. No credit cards with paypal. Shipping in the USA via Fedex or UPS ground.

Well, he asked if he could use another lossless format besides FLAC. That's why I suggested WMA-L.
-
WTF? Everybody else said that the remote wouldn't fit the jack, and therefore won't even power up the radio. So you can turn your NH700 into an NHF800 with just the addition of the remote? With full functionality?

I'm seriously getting sick and tired of all this stupid spammers. *eye twitches* I'll be changing my avatar to the less friendly version of that canine... grrr...
-
I thought this was spam for a moment. Good to see I was mistaken. Nice picture. Looks like something out of a fairy tale.
-
Sonicstage will accept Windows Media Lossless. Cowon's JetAudio basic will convert from FLAC to WMA-L with no problems. And regardless of format, Lossles is lossless is lossless.

Anyone keep their SS library in WAV?
Syrius replied to Sparky191's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
All my recordings are uploaded, converted to WAV, and then to FLAC or WMA-L for archival, then backed up to DVD or HDD. Nothing stays in ATRAC format. -
Converting to MP3 is compressing all right. Depending on the bitrate you select, your files will be from one tenth, to one fourth of the original wave. Just don't use Sonicstage to create the Mp3s or the CD/DVD. Get another encoder like Lame and the RazorLame frontend, (even MusicMatch will be enough) and use any kind of CD burning application (Like Nero) to create the archive CD or DVD.

You're right, Atrain. I could try California for a doctor appointment and a vacation on the same trip. Knott's Berry farm sounds good to me.
