I received this email from Audiocubes.com few days ago: "Hi Alejandro, The MC33EL will work with HiMD units but cannot display all information since it only has 1 line. Your best bet is to use the MC40EL (3 lines, designed for Hi-MD), or MC35EL which can also work with HiMD units. The general delivery time is about 7-12 days once you place your order. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or comments, please let us know. Thank you. Kohn info@audiocubes.com" The MC40EL is an UNIVERSAL HiMD remote, so it must work just fine

"Track Name", "Artist Name", "Album Name", what other information is necessary to know what you're listening??
-
 so, these guys from Etronics really dont know... I visited Sony.com and according to the info all HiMD devices come with one 1G blank disc, on top of that the NH600D comes with a MDCASE3
-
I hope so... It is the USA version what I asked them.

I just received a email from Etronics about whether or not the NHF800 comes with a HiMD blank: "Thanks for inquiring about our products. I'm sorry but we do not have the blank MD's in stock and it does not come with a blank one." bad news for me...
-
 Thanx a lot aeriyn and to the others as well. I think I will pick the MZNHF800: it's cheaper and better than the combo.
-
Please help me The link below states that the NHF800 comes with carry pouch and one HiMD blank, is it true for USA version??? http://ravn.net/md/nhf800/index.htm

The american NHF800 comes with carry pouch and one HiMD blank? Anyone knows how much does NHF800 blister packing weigh? (the whole thing I mean )
-
"Hopefully, from now on many Militants and Terrorists will use their AK47s to listen to music and audio books…They need to chill out and take it easy." can you picture that?
-
What about the sound features NH600D vs NHF800?
-
The NH700 isnt released in LatinAmerica yet and I know for sure that the price will be about the same as the american NH900. So my options are those released over USA (the cheaper ones). I must add that my cash limit is US$235 (I buy Im broke )

you know what it's funny?... an AK47 MP3 player :wacky: the device is real (I saw on TV) and it is placed where goes the rifle's magazine. It would be interesting to see a person walking in the park and listening music from an AK47 on their back

Hi there, Im in the middle of a dilema :rasp: I was typing my personal info to buy the MZNH600D at Etronics (after that I'd go to audiocubes to buy the RM-MC33EL remote), but my cousin, who was next to me, did a simple mathematical operation: MZNH600D + RMMC33EL + SHIPMENT = US$233 MZNHF800 + SHIPMENT = US$224 Few seconds after I checked the add myself, I stopped the purchase right away. Im not a big fan of the tuner remote it's kinda fragil and expensive and I mean very! besides I have a NetMD with that remote. So my question is what would be your pick? These are the features that I look for: 1. HiMD+remote 2. Sound quality 3. General durability 4. Cost-effective Any comment will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

:rasp: My mistake, I referred to the MZNF520D. See the features about the remote from this link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ronics&n=507846 misleading publicy or misprinting? The customer reviews clarify that.

NO, the remote (RM-MC37LT) that came with my MD does not have any light... hmmm... wait, I think the remote of the MZN520D, which doesnt have AM, has back light Im not quite sure though. **I look up and think: that was a straight answer?** Ok, the tuner remote RM-MC37LT does not have back light.
-
The price for that remote is simply unbelievable! Somehow, it's the way that Sony makes you to think of buying the entire unit instead of just the remote . I have one of those and when I saw the price at audiocubes.com I put it into an anti-static bag inside of a quilted box signed "For Emergency Only"... Im not kidding
-
Correct me if Im wrong, but I think that all the HiMD Japanese models come with that remote. Sort of 'oriental privilege' perhaps... d()b
-
I thought the european model doesnt have any remote jack... does this S model have it? http://www.minidisc.org/images/sony_mznh60...silver_mymd.jpg

Anyone knows where might I get the RM-MC21? I want to know if that is cheaper than the RM-MC33EL.
-
 is that so?... I guess I have to get extra money for the NH700 (damn! :whatever:). Thanx anyway. ps. Im from SouthAmerica and the NH700 will be the official HI-MD for LatinAmerica.
-
yes, you're right, but the playback functions is what Im concerned.
