Respuesta no Experta: en caso que no obtengas las repuestas que buscas, ve y compra los cables libres de oxigeno y con recubrimiento de oro. Siempre es mejor comprar lo mejor

Hello, there's must be a SONYCENTER in Toronto, but if you were looking for online shopping, I found these: http://www.walkman.ca http://www.minidisc-canada.com Regarding the units, I know a couple which are the most recent: MZN920 or MZNH900 There are other ones but Im not quite sure about those

Well, actually I was at the same situation. First I was after the NH600D plus a remote, then I realized that the NHF800 was about the same price than the combo so I didnt know what to pick NH600D or NHF800, then I saw a good price (US$20 extra) for the NH900 at Etronics and again I didnt know NHF800 or NH900 and finally I decided to take the latter. You're probably right, there's no big difference if your fidelity demands arent high (listen music with the supplied headphone once in a while), dont care about the remote, the bulky battery compartment or you need to save some money for something else. But if you have the money for NH900 with no problem, I'd say: why not? It's a better device at every aspect (sound, remote, size, battery life, playing features, etc)... for me it cost more money that I had to spend at the beginning but it was worth it  ps Perhaps where the NH700 beats to the NH900 is the battery type, the NH700 uses the standard AA for internal use however the NH900 uses prismatic type hard to find... ps ps mine still isnt here though

Perhaps this helps: http://www.powerstream.com/BatteryFAQ.html ...or confuse even more :rasp:

the mentioned online store at Ebay has good stuffs, for instance, Sony chargers or MD remotes: http://stores.ebay.com/Bargaining4All-Online-Store Over here the best option is a couple of GP1450 prismatic batteries plus charger for US$35. The Sony NH14WM version is rare and expensive, there's a guy who sells it for US$90 at online auction :wacky:

very sorry about that... cheer up, your new pink miniIpod baby is on its way

I replied to his answer, I wrote him that I havent seen any catalog where the N1 was considered better than the N10, I will try to do a literal translation, so here is the new answer:  I really like this guy but I hope you can understand what he's trying to explain because I dont :wacky:

Here in my Country, there's an online auction selling the MZ-N1 for about US$600!!... I mean wtf!! This guy is a dreamer, no MD user not even a casual buyer wouldn't be willing of paying that fre@#$% price (that's how the sellers keep unpopular this format )... anyway, this fellow has the MZ-N10 US$100 cheaper, I know that over here one has to pay some taxes due to importations plus the seller profit expectations, but those prices are ridiculous :wacky: I asked him why the N10 is cheaper than the N1 if both units are brand new (at least that's what he states), here is his answer about the MZ-N1: Piece of work, huh? :rasp:

Before I ordered mine, I checked almost everyday PriceGrabber.com. Winnig price: $245 @ Etronics... oh wait, it's about the same price for a miniIpod at Crutchfield, duh!...
-
Etronics.com had the MZ-NH900 for $245 (no tax + free shipping) about one week, great service by the way. Im just counting the hours ... ... ... ... 72 so far :rasp:
-
I'd say computer4sure.com, $321.95 free shipping, but they dont have it in stock.

so the battery life is smaller than the stated in the manual... edited: damn...
-
but someone said that you cant mix the NiMH gumstick and NiMH rechargeable AA at the same time. I want to know if there's a way to do that, for example one NiMH AA with similar characteristics as an alkaline AA
-
Hi there, its me again. Now there's a new dilema :wacky: :wacky: (call me crazy or undecided  ). I realize that if I buy any HiMD device I will be probably broken (not to say 99% sure), so why not do it with 'style'. The target is the MZ-NH900 now, but I want to know for sure what is the performance of its gumstick battery? how long does it last at any mode? it is absolutely impossible to plug a rechargeable AA (one with similar characteristics) with the NH10WM at the same time? Thanks in advance for any help.
-
too bad... ok, thanks. BTW what about the performance of the NH14WM gumstick, has anyone tested it?
-
Saludos, I wonder what kind of extra battery could have the MZNH900, just Alkaline or could be any AA rechargeable?
-
 can you actually plug a 'stereo miniplug to stereo miniplug' cable to the OPTICAL line-in to record anything? there's no need for a special cable or something?
