    yes, the minidisc australia liquidation has brought nh1 prices really really LOW if you get a nh1, you wont regret it

    stick to md for recording, im sure even if apple did decide to work on recording on the ipod, there would be bugs, a lot of them until say the second generation?

    agreed! i dont think any of the atrac3+ at anything higher than 100kbps is bad at all

    again, nobody's ears are quite the same or as discerning as others. to me, 64kbps is good enough

    im pretty sure that at this point, the minidisc format has only been on the decline for sony, so thats the critical factor for their wanting out of the format

    get the rh10 only if you seriously need mp3 playback and/or the external dry battery attachment

    that is definitely odd... i guess i wont be going for a nh900 then... could this problem exist with the rh10 as well?!?!?

    aside form mac compatibility, the hardware is the same

    are you sure about the "sidecar" thing? im pretty sure im not the only one on forums who refers to the "sidecar" in other ways

    yes it does, as it takes more to read the higher bit rate also, notice how all sony's battery consumption readings are done at atrac3+ at 48kbps [ughh]

    most of us on the forums have been using the md format for quite a while now, and wont want to simply move onto another format... at least thats waht im thinking

    ipod nanos are much more user friendly just from the fact that itunes is more intuitive than sonicstage is

    nh1 would be almost perfect if it had a battery attachment...
