  1. That is no UFO. It's just some ceiling lamps. The disc in question is from AXIA's MD-im "select your style" 2003 Series - please review this thread for its complete series. I acquire most of my discs while back in Japan or have my family ship it over.
  2. Yes, it does - all MZ-RH10 variant employs the same NiMH battery. If you have other queries pertaining to the blue MZ-RH10, please post them in this thread.
  3. Let's just say that track is definitely not my cup of tea.
  4. Please read the initial post thoroughly. This is strictly a player-only unit - the EH designation is a giveaway.
  5. Listening to Yoko Kanno | Cowboy Bebop Vitaminless in ATRAC3plus 256kbps. 1. The Real Folk Blues 2. Odd Ones 3. Doggy Dog 4. Cats On Mars 5. SPY 6. Fantaisie Sign 7. Piano Bar I
  6. Welcome to ALC. Yes, that's plausible. Please feel free to include your observation at the thread mentioned in the preceding posts.
  7. The RM-MC11EL remote is a 2001 release, which is the same year the MZ-R700 was released. The remote works flawlessly with the MZ-R900, so it should work with the MZ-R700 with no problem.
  8. Update: I have edited the initial post so it's more presentable. Thread moved to news section.
  9. If I remember correctly, the first of the 2nd generation player MZ-EH930 does not support Mp3 playback - so this is nothing new.
  10. If I remember correctly, Aura is a codename for the upcoming Network Walkman.
  11. Brilliant selection! At my end, I am listening to Anton Kuerti | Beethoven: The Complete Piano Sonatas & Diabelli Variations Disc 4 of 10 in ATRAC3plus 256kbps. 1. 12. Welcome to MDCF. The RM-MC11EL remote itself has backlight feature, so it should work with the MZ-R700 just fine. Please review our "Guide To Sony LCD Remotes" for further information.
  13. Welcome to MDCF! Unfortunately, the PCGA-MDN1 NetMD module will not work with any other system; the module is a VAIO NV series exclusive and it has a proprietary connector which is employed only by the VAIO NV notebook series. Since you have dismantled its outer shell you may want to explore (*acquire the service manual of one of the VAIO NV series notebook) the schematics of the module and order the proprietary connector - perhaps you can fix sometime up. Good luck with your project. thread moved to the appropriate section of the forum: NetMD + MDLP
  14. Brilliant. I am glad it works. Enjoy the Pocket.
  15. I believe you can only have one default "My Library" location. If the new default is G drive, then "My Library" will only display all existing information accordingly - previously and future imported tunes. As for transferring existing imported tunes from C to G drive - you can certainly just drag-and-drop those tunes to its designated location provided they are non-DRM imported tunes. Otherwise, you will need to re-import them with no DRM. For organization purposes, you may want to delete (*without actually deleting the files from the computer) the ATRAC3plus tunes located in C drive from the "My Library" and re-import those tunes once more from G drive. Have fun with the backup.

  18. Update: Pictorial updated - RM-MC35ELK and Size Comparison pictures.
  19. Thanks Ellen! Your pictorial truly showcase the brown EH930 as it should.
  20. Yes, that's correct. Sony USA will not honor Japanese warranty; you will need to request "buyfromjapan" to facilitate warranty service. As for out-of-warranty repair service, Sony USA may service it for a fee but you should enquire in advance about this. Otherwise, you will need to ship it back to Japan.
  21. That's brilliant! I am glad one of the part numbers are still valid. Please do let me know how it goes.
  22. --> If you purchased the Japanese version of MZ-RH10, you can certainly employ its standard worldwide AC Adaptor with the MZ-NH900 with no detrimental effects. --> Avoid AudioCubes and try buyfromjapan (search within the forum for member's shopping experience with buyfromjapan); it's somewhat cheaper. And you do not need an additional transformer - as Japanese MZ-RH10 comes bundled with standard worldwide 110-240V AC Adaptor. Bottom line, the transformer is not necessary with the MZ-RH10 if you import from Japan. I am not certain of your last query. Perhaps someone else can answer that.
  23. I wouldn't call it an oversight since the 2nd generation MZ-RH10 and MZ-RH910 features a large six-line OLED and five-line LCD display respectively. Thus, the lack of three-line display support is insignificant for general purposes; nonetheless, the option should be made available to users.
