Ishiyoshi replied to Christopher's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
Yes, unfortunately those carrying cases are optional accessories. But I am sure the NW-A3000/1000 will come bundled with some sort of carrying pouch. -

Welcome to the forum. The MZ-RH10 works just fine with regular AA batteries attached in its external dry battery case.

Thanks. I don't think we will see other 1GB Hi-MD discs anytime soon; at least not this quarter. At this point, we can only hope that major producers such as TDK, AXIA, Maxell and Victor will start producing Hi-MD disc soon. But considering the direction of our beloved format... we can only pray.

I couldn't agree more with you. It is imperative that the source is of good quality. Otherwise, the MDR-SA5000 will reveal the deficiency of the recording.

We have discussed this issue over at our sister forum, ATRACLife Colloquium. It is plausible to state that it is impossible to change the sound pressure levels of the NW-E405. For further information, please click on the link in the preceding sentence. I will lock this thread shortly; please refer further queries to our sister forum - ATRACLife Colloquium.

Yes, you can certainly archive non-DRM ATRAC3plus tunes with SonicStage 3.2. I store all my non-DRM ATRAC3plus tunes within an external 160 GB HDD enclosure for use between a desktop and sub-notebook without any problem. *Just make sure your external HDD is connected to the desktop/notebook before running SonicStage 3.2. Follow these steps and enjoy your backup chore. 1) You will need to set the "Location to save imported files" within SonicStage 3.2 to your designated external USB HDD. (For example: x:\ATRAC Music) 2) As mentioned in the preceding paragraph, ensure that your external USB HDD is connected to your PC before running SonicStage 3.2. 3) Ensure that you deselect "Add copy protection" feature prior to importing a CD.

Yes, with significant burn-in time, the MDR-SA5000 is somewhat louder and definitely more detail at my end. Were you able to discern any change in detail before and after burn-in?

Glad you find the "You Can Get" series interesting. This is another reason why I love the MD format – the media itself has various designs for everyone. Keep a look out... I will endeavor to release more MD disc pictorials as time permits. Thanks If you have the original scan of the picture, drop me a pm and I can try to bring you back to the living world. But seriously, you look just fine.

Glad to see you are still holding on to your nice MD portable collection. By the way, is that an Alien miniature lurking behind the MJ58?

Which AC ADAPTOR for using a UK MZ-NH1 in the US?
Ishiyoshi replied to catchmenow's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
Go with option one. I've used it several times with my NH1 while in London last year; there are absolutely no detrimental effects (with either voltage rating) with the Sony AC-E60A AC adaptor. -
Thanks again for another thoughtful pictorial. pictorial moved to its appropriate section: "'phones."
