  1. Within the RH10 Service Manual, there is specific information regarding destination codes and accessories part numbers, which bears classification of AUS - Australian model.
  2. Heh... good to know MD is still alive in Malaysia.
  3. Currently listening to Pithecanthropus Erectus, Track 1, Disc 1 of Charles Mingus / Passions of a Man: The Complete Atlantic Recordings [1956-1961].
  4. Wolf's Rain is a most interesting anime. Great soundtrack btw.
  5. That is just too bad. However, if the RH10 service manual is accurate, Sony does intend to market 2nd generation units for the Australian market. Hopefully, our Australian counterpart will soon see the RH10. As for South-East Asian countries, I am sure some retailer will import the Japanese tourist version.
  6. I got a couple of MashiMaro Limited Ed. 1750mAh NiMH battery last year from a MD dealer from China. The dealer claimed that this limited edition 1750 mAh was produced by Sony for MashiMaro, a Korean brand. In addition, the MashiMaro NiMH 1750mAh was not produced for retail sale and only available as a limited edition package with some Korean MD. The gumsticks performs relatively well. I experienced about few days extra of usage compared to a standard NiMH. Of course, the efficiency of the 1750mAh NiMH is relative to your MD usage. The 1750mAh gumsticks are available at Bargaining4all.

    Nh900 Battery

Yes, you can definitely use a higher capacity NiMH. The NH-14WM (1400mAH) will work just fine.
  8. You are most welcome. You can purchase the 1750mAh gumsticks at Bargaining4all.
  9. Please refer to this thread for further details.
  10. Your problem relates to the common "omgjbox.exe" issue. To resolve the problem, either upgrade your WinXP to SP2 if you have not done so or install the MS04-032 Security Update for Windows if you do not want to upgrade to SP2. Regardless, the windows patch will fix the "omgjbox.exe" issue. In addition, if you have not update your version of SonicStage, please do so at US Connect or the following thread.
  11. Try and reinstall SonicStage 3.1 Japanese version in Japanese locale. In other words, run the installer file with Microsoft AppLocale in Japanese. Since you already have a Japanese unit and software, the only reason I think you can't title in Japanese is because you installed SonicStage 3.1 JP while in English locale.
  12. * Please do not create six identical threads. One will suffice.
  13. Brilliant! I am listening to Yunus Guvenen, John Digweed Kiss100 [Aug. 30, 2003] compilation in PCM.
  14. Just in case you can't read Japanese, for your convenience, follow the instruction below to change the operation language to English. Upon entering the menu (by holding the menu button for a few seconds): 1) Select: 各種設定 / Option 2) Select: 表示言語 / Language 3) Select: 日本語 or English
  15. Yes, indeed. NiMH AA works just fine. No problems with all my portable MD units.
  16. Interesting. It does not appear to be photoshop; perhaps a Sony Hi-MD disc variation of the standard Sony Color MD disc.
  17. Since RH10 and RH910 is somewhat identical, it may work but of course there are no guarantees.
  18. You are most welcome. A member by the name of pata2001 provided the registry info. Happy MD!
  19. Which NetMD unit do you own and from which region did you purchase it? Remember, only units from Japan and Asia-Pacific can display Japanese/Chinese characters.
  20. Answer to 1: NiMH would be more efficient for daily operation. But no problem using just AA battery. Answer to 2: No, you can certainly use NiMH. AA battery act as a supplement to extend operation time. Answer to 3: You can get SonicStage 3.1 from this thread.
  21. For your convenience, I have included an attachment below to an edited SonicStage 3.1 Japanese version installer. Once you've completed the installation process, you can certainly proceed with the Japanese version of SonicStage 3.1 and title in Japanese without any problem. However, I am not sure if you can title in Hangul, though. To my knowledge, only the MC55ELK remote allows Hangul text; but of course I could be wrong. Well, do remember to run SonicStage 3.1 Japanese version with Microsoft AppLocale. Enjoy.
  22. SonicStage by default sort music by artist regardless if they are in the same album. So, you need to ensure that you edit the tag accordingly or "check" the compilation box underneath the artist name within properties option. If this is check, you ought to get one entry for all artist associated with the one album.
  23. Since you are in the US, try RadioShack. They have it for $5.99.
  24. Good point. If that is the case, you can easily purchase a UK-->US plug adaptor for your existing AC Adaptor if it is indeed 100-240V.
