  3. There's nothing wrong with either your HDD or SonicStage. You will need to have SonicStage 2.0 present prior to a SonicStage 2.3 upgrade. If you do not have the SonicStage 2.0 CDROM, you can download it here. Is there any particular reason why you want SonicStage 2.3? You can download SonicStage 3.0 from Connect now.
  4. The case is made exclusively for the MZ-E10 and not for MD discs. However, I am sure you can use it for similar size unit. As far as I am aware, HEADPORTER only produced this case for the MZ-E10.
  5. Just updated my wallpaper - I alternate between the three below.
  6. I am seeking to acquire the following MD case, which was produced in limited quantities for the MZ-E10 by HEADPORTER from Japan. Please do drop me a pm should you have it. Thanks.
  7. I will try and get a readable English version to Chris as soon as time permits.
  8. I have not seen either of these movies. Right now, I am waiting eagerly to acquire the much anticipated Criterion Edition of Akira Kurosawa's Kagemusha. I have watched Kagemusha countless of times and it's just brilliant.
  9. First of all, which remote did you employ with the NH1 - RM-MC40ELK or the MC40EL? If your remote is the RM-MC40EL, that explains the "????" text. However, if your remote is the RM-MC40ELK, you may need to edit the registry of SonicStage to enable multi-byte titling so that Chinese text will be properly transferred over to the MD.
  10. I assume that is its MSRP price; and you can likely get it cheaper by stores around Mong Kok, right?
  11. I just finished reading an interesting article/interview from the Wall Street Journal about the new man behind Sony – how he was selected, his relationship with Mr. Kutaragi and the challenges he faces. I thought most of you would find it interesting as well. Enjoy. (Note to Mods: Could you please move this to the news section of the forum since the article is not specifically for HiMD. Thanks.) Here's some excerpts from the interview:
  12. Have you seen one in person to make such a conclusion?
  13. That is an affirmative. The blue RH10 that I am expecting is also "Made in Malaysia." However, "Made in Malaysia" is really not that bad since its still Sony and its parts/materials are sourced from elsewhere - including Japan.
  14. Thanks Ben! It's indeed Y'z Dock; and both the battery and weather docklet is of Konfabulator.
  15. Here's mine on my Sony TR5 sub-notebook --->
  16. Awesome! I spy your "new" SonicStage and SimpleBurner icon.
  17. I have yet to watch TOEI Studio's version of Miyamoto Musashi. It sure sounds promising.
  18. The above title, "Shin Zatôichi monogatari: Kasama no chimatsuri" or known as "Zatoichi's Conspiracy" is Shintaro Katsu's 25th Zatoichi series. Have you seen the entire 26 episodes? It's brilliant; and in my opinion, Shintaro Katsu depicts Zatoichi the best. Nonetheless, Takeshi Kitano gives a refreshing contemporary depiction of Zatoichi.
  19. Yet another pictorial update. Enjoy! Source: VAIO Column The NW-E400/500 Series
  20. Nice! Zatoichi is one of my all time favorite samurai flick. Have you seen its original TV series (played by Shintaro Katsu from 1962 to 1989)?
  21. How did you like "In the Mood For Love"? I watched its Criterion Edition and it was superb! Well, I hope you'd enjoyed it.
  22. Yes, you can definitely charge your battery with the R909 via its charging stand; however, don't you have an external charger? In addition, can you use the stop button on your N910 to clear "PC-->MD"? I am sure you can enter service mode of the N910 but you would need the service manual as a guide. If you are interested, you can email this service manual dealer for N910's service manual; of course with a small fee. If all fails, the best is to utilize your warranty if it's still applicable. Good luck.
  23. Which color did you purchase? I am awaiting delivery of a blue unit. As for an English version of RH10's Operating Instructions, do check back with either Sony Europe or USA at the end of this month.
