  1. A picture depicting actual color scheme of the orange and blue RH10 unit. Some close-ups of the black RH10
  2. That is odd - "PC --> MD" should not appear if your unit is not connected to USB. Have you try using a new NH-14WM battery? In addition, try taking out the battery and reinsert it back into the battery chamber.
  3. First of all, what version of WinXP do you employ? Assuming you have not upgrade to WinXP SP2, try installing this MS04-032 Security Update for Windows patch. If you already have SP2, try it anyways.
  4. In the United States, I believe Sony charges a standard flat fee of $111 for any repair service. The fee includes labor, shipping and tax.
  5. It seems that the optical block of your unit has worn out. You will likely need to replace it. Try your local Sony Service Center or an authorized electronic repair center.
  6. I am sorry that your experience was not a pleasant one thus far. However, I have to agree with dex that something is amidst within your system - most likely SonicStage's registry settings or SonicStage 3.0 did not installed properly. There are many users of this forum that have 100% problem free experience with SonicStage 3.0; and I am one of them. While, reverting back to SonicStage 2.3 is not bad at all, just make sure you delete SonicStage's registry before doing so. Regardless the possibilities, I hope you can revert back to SonicStage 2.3 with ease. You can download the full version of SonicStage 2.0 here [26.4MB]. Good luck.

  10. In The Mood For Love Soundtrack. An exquisite soundtrack for an elegant film.
  11. In the Mood for Love. Truly an elegant film.
  12. This is great. Perhaps, North American consumers can expect the same line-up and avoid going thru AudioCubes; considering the sub par customer service they offered to some users.
  13. Ever heard of economies of scale? ________________________________________ I do agree that the thickness of RH10/RH910 gives it a bulky look; but it's only a mere 4mm. Until we see and feel the unit in person, we can never discern the appearance of the unit by referring to those web photographs. As for the remote, I do somewhat agree that Sony should have bundled newer remotes such as the RM-MC55ELK with RH10. However, the fact that RH10 employs an OLED screen explains why it did not. Just to rationale, the VAIO Pocket spot a vibrant display and it comes with a simple remote, which many would argue it’s not good enough. As a VAIO Pocket user, I thought the remote could be better but soon find myself using the display screen more than the Pocket’s remote or other variation that I own. [just to name a few: RM-MC40ELK/MC35ELK] As for the NH1, the justification of using the RM-MC40ELK is obvious – the NH1 does not have a large display screen. Therefore, it is fair to construe that the need for remotes such as RM-MC40ELK is of a secondary concern [and also explains why the price of RH10 as a whole is lower]. Well, it seems that NH900 have satisfied your needs thus far. Perhaps you could wait for the 3rd generation or other possible offerings from Sharp.

  15. zerodB, check your pm. You shall find SonicStage 3.0 JE's SSAddonOpt.ini information.
  16. Sure. I will try and locate the SSAddonOpt.ini file. Edit: I have located the SSAddonOpt.ini file [sonicStage 2.3 JE] - however, I can't locate version 3.0 JE's SSAddonOpt.ini yet; likely due to a reboot upon installation. Should this suffice your needs, let me know. Otherwise, I will try and reinstall SonicStage 3.0 JE and attempt to locate the required file. I am not sure if you can "create" an option to view MORA from a Connect version of SonicStage - having both or more Music Service option. But it is certainly possible provided you know how to fiddle with the correct file in question. And to answer your query, it is Mora.
  17. That's too bad. I guess we already have those files installed upon our upgrade to WinXP SP2. Nonetheless, good luck.

    How About Psp?

Yes, that's correct. The first few batch of Japanese PSP employs Sharp LCD while worldwide release will use LG or maybe Samsung LCD.
  19. Sorry, can't help you there. I am not sure if we can get hold of a standalone module. There's a possibility we can extract it just as we did with MD Simpler Burner and PA Drivers. To my knowledge, the application upgrade installer only download whatever is missing from your current version of SonicStage. Therefore, if your software is up to date, I doubt it will take that long. In addition, SonicStage 3.0 [EN] has already gone online and you should consider updating your copy of SonicStage to this newer version. I have installed it yesterday and I can tell you that all modules including the one you need comes with the latest version.
  20. I would prefer to couple the RM-MC55ELK with the RH10 instead since I already have the 40ELK. Note to self: Get a NE20!
  21. Based on historical offerings, North American market will likely receive the silver unit only.
  22. Indeed. For us, VAIO Pocket users, the thickness of about 4mm more than NH1 is insignificant. I think the thickness from the photographs can be misconstrued as well by the fact that the outer shell is translucent.
