  1. Unfortunately, you will have to unless you have the CD-ROM version. --> Start from CONNECT-Europe's page. If I remember correctly, the country of residence list is available if you download SonicStage 3.4 from Europe or JEB version.
  2. Welcome to MDCF! Please redirect your query or search the database at our sister forum - ATRACLife which deals with all non-MD ATRAC related devices. Just to give you a quick answer: Note to point #2: you will need an original copy of WinXP to download Microsoft AppLocale. Note to point #3: please update to SonicStage 3.4 (update according to your default region) if possible. If you should have a large music library registered/imported via SonicStage, please utilize SonicStage Backup Tool prior to your upgrade. Please read and apply all steps to the letter outlined in this guide for non-MD ATRAC devices: Titling ATRAC Files In Japanese/Chinese/Korean Note: Chinese characters will only be supported by SonicStage 3.4 as long as its within the Japanese library. *this thread will be closed shortly
  3. Great question. Sony’s MZ designation for its portable MiniDisc Audio is likely a designation to differentiate from its MD Data format. But then Sony is known to be eccentric with designation. So, who knows …
  4. For your reference - To organize individual tracks of the same album: Ensure that you select "Tracks in the compilation albums" (within track properties) on the tracks in question. In addition, ensure that all the tracks of the same album have identical album title. In your case, perhaps you need to tweak your Mp3 tag somewhat - ensure that all audio tracks belonging to Stephen King's "Everything Eventual" bears the same album title. Note: Because by default, SonicStage sort music tracks by artist, tracks of the same album but with various artists will be placed as individual tracks. Thus, you will need to re-organize the tracks accordingly as outlined above.
  5. For your convenience, download and install the attached OpenMG Secure Module 4.4.00.11241 manually --> If possible - during installation of SonicStage 3.4, redirect the installer to the location where you have unzip the attachment. This should resolve your installation issue. Good luck.
  6. Welcome to ATRACLife! Sounds like a MSI issue here. Some users have reported similar issue. Anyhow, the solution usually entails: a manual installation of OpenMG Secure Module or uninstall your current "incomplete" SonicStage 3.4 (as outlined in step #2 and #3 of this guide), reboot and run a registry cleaner (such as RegCleaner). Reboot and install SonicStage 3.4 once again.I would recommend that you try solution 2.
  7. First of all, where are you located? CONNECT Music Service is only available in certain areas and you can only access CONNECT Music Service if it's available at your default location. Just for your reference: Availability of CONNECT Music Service by region: Japan (known as Mora) USA Europe (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom)If you reside in any of the listed countries, download SonicStage 3.4 accordingly by the region.
  8. Thanks. I will update the guide accordingly with your observations. As for your newly acquired RM-MC51EL, I believe the "LIGHT" button works just fine. It's just not operable with a Hi-MD/MD unit; rather as you have suspected with a Sony portable ATRAC CD Discman.
  9. Yes, the MZ-E610 is strictly a Japanese domestic unit. However, I think it was available in Hong Kong and Singapore during its release as well.
  10. Yes, go for it. The RM-MC35ELK will work just fine with the MZ-RH910. *thread moved to its appropriate section of the forum
  11. Yes, it does. Please read the instructions thoroughly - especially point #1 and #2.
  12. Likewise. No problems at my end and I did change the default location of the imported files folder.
  13. Just received the new Sony Chronicle 2006 and a few packs of the new TDK CLEF and the hard to find Memorex MDs.
  14. The difference is minimal at my end (original source: DVD).
  15. The NW-E507 Service Manual is now available for download once again within our "Download" Archive. Mister Clean: Just for your reference, you can't unlock the volume limiter present in European versions of the NW-E400/500 series.

  21. Brilliant! I totally forgot about this album; one of their best indeed.
  22. Are you refering to the scene where Tank loads a "Combat Training" program for Neo? That is not a MD.
  23. Definitely. I used to employ one of my MD unit while in the gym and I still use the R910 as my skiing companion.
  24. I own the SuperMacro-III and I do notice significant improvement when coupled with the EH1+SA5000. The SuperMacro-III drives the SA5000 very well - to perfection if I may say so. However, I have yet to try the M³. From what I have read, this amp will certainly provide excellent synergy for the SA5000. I reckon you can't go wrong with either offering from Xin or Rockhopper.
