Use PSP Video 9 for encoding DVD to MP4/AVC and DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD accordingly. I have used Nero Recode before and it's not as efficient in my opinion. As for my system specs, it's nothing fancy; just P4 3Ghz with 2GB of memory.

As for your query above, yes, you can install the Japanese version over your existing English version of SonicStage 3.4. I did replicate your current setup with SonicStage (running SonicStage 3.4 with AppLocale) and the "Omgjbox.exe error" is no where to be seen. So, let’s try: installing the Japanese version. In addition, you could also try employing the Asia-Pacific version as well and apply the appropriate registry edit accordingly. ensure that the NW-HD3 is not connected while starting SonicStage 3.4Good luck and report back with your observations.
