I tried earlier with Anton Kuerti's rendition of Beethoven: The Complete Piano Sonatas & Diabelli Variations and I thought I could discern a difference between piano tone represented in the 352kbps and 256kbps bit rates. To my ears, the piano tone of the 352kbps sounds a little more detailed and refined.

These icons provide an alternative "unique" look to your Windows Explorer instead of the default Windows icon for removable media whenever you connect your Hi-MD device to the PC. That is most unfortunate. I have yet to experience the stated issue with the latest firmware. If you still wish to use the purchased tracks on your PSP, try HIMDRenderer 0.50. You can attempt to salvage those purchased Connect tracks with HIMDRenderer 0.50 by converting it to WAV format; and then proceed to import and reconvert to ATRAC via SonicStage 3.2.

Perhaps, you need to recharge your VAIO Pocket's internal battery. The G-sense pad is known to react slowly when your unit's battery is not fully charged. Otherwise, the reason the G-sense pad is not functioning properly could be due to the following: 1) Sensitivity setting. *You did mention that you had to reset the VAIO Pocket several times. Please note that the G-sense pad sensitivity must be set again upon a reset. 2) Moisture. *If there is moisture on the G-sense pad, it will not operate normally. Ensure that your fingers are dry when operating the G-sense pad or wipe the area with a dry cloth.
