Andicillo
Pity no Hi-Md Support. By the way.. Do you know how to import from Japan with Cheap freight?
Christopher
Andicillo, Audiocubes will probably carry this unit soon. Cheap freight I'm not so sure of, but that's hard to avoid considering it is a full bookshelf.

atrain
so you can dub, a use of md as a direct replacement for cassette tapes.
Christopher
Ishiyoshi and I were talking about this the other day over IM and I'm quite impressed by this release. I think the ability to quickly rip DVD Audio straight to regular MD in a bookshelf is very nice. Something that confuses me is that it doesn't list DVD Audio as a standard playback format, but one must assume that if it can play DVD Video, then DVD Audio discs would be fine as well -- it would be a little silly if it were otherwise.I imagine the 2x MD to MD copy is probably analog, but that's a neat feature as well - something that has been seemingly common with MD bookshelves released by Victor in recent times. Sparky191
I've never heard of Victor before. Would this be in the same "audio" class as something like a denon bookshelf unit etc?
greenmachine
Japan Victor Company = JVC, in Japan known as Victor. However, they're not allowed to use the Victor name outside of Japan, thus JVC.
Superbaldguy
Does this have the World Band tuner? A bookshelf system looks more and more attractive as time goes by.
