akijikan
I used to spend a lot of time on http://www.sixthseal.com because they guy was a druggie and always posted "trip reports" in his blog that were often hilarious. He got addicted to meth and benzos and it became a huge problem for him though. He also posts a lot of restaurant reviews and retail reviews that are interesting. He recently had to remove his drug stuff at the behest of the Malaysian Government after his blog was sensationalized in the local newspapers and tabloids. My free webhost, http://www.astahost.com, is interesting because all it is is a forum, but depending on the length of your post you get "credits" Once you reach 10 credits you can apply for 20 megs of hosting with 500 mb monthly bandwidth but at 30 credits you get 150 megs of space with 5 gigs of bandwidth. The best thing is that you have all the features of paid professional hosting (such as NO ADS, cPanel, Frontpage extensions, PHP, CGI, Perl, MySQL, and free support, unlimited FTP and Email accounts) Earning credits isn't hard either as I had 20 in a day. Quite worth it if you're a cheap-a** who doesn't want to pay for anything and don't mind spending time making quality posts in a web forum.I'm always on eBay because I go to thrift stores and buy stuff to sell. The best profit? Stoneware. I have this place I can buy brand name stoneware between 25-75 cent per full size plate and sell it on ebay for 5-8 dollars per plate. All the housewives have to complete their sets! Besides selling, I buy all my stuff on there. Especially when it comes to electronics, there's no better price!I read Undercover in Japan. It's a blog of one of my friends who teaches english in Japan. He is a shutterbug and there are so many great pictures and link to his Flickr gallery with tons more. I like to cycle his full size shots as desktop backgrounds. As a crazy-right-wing conservative (not! please don't think I'm one of those religious nuts, I don't go to chruch!) I have to read http://www.foxnews.com because its the only fair major newssource out there. When I'm building a computer, I do all my shopping at http://www.pricewatch.com. It's like those other shopping bots out there, but it has a more complete list of sources and always finds the best price for any computer related component. They've also expanded into electronics. As a college football and Tennessee Volunteers fanatic I spend a lot of time at http://www.utsports.com and http://www.volquest.com as far as Tennessee sites go. For all sports I go to http://www.espn.com and for general college football websites I like http://www.heismanpundit.com and http://mgoblog.blogspot.com. The latter is the home of the blogpoll, which is a college football poll made up of more than 50 college football bloggers. That's enough for now, don't ya think? Skradgee
http://www.starla.org Perhaps the greatest Smashing Pumpkins fan resource, ever! http://www.oth.net This site has been around forever (almost). FTP sharing can be a good alternative to P2P programs. Hmm. If I think of others I'll edit them in later.
