MZ-RH1 charger in different countries

I am intend to buy RH1 from Japan version,but I am living in Hong Kong,then did I need to buy extra transformer or charger in order to use it.

Or I just need to buy a traveler transformer so that to suit the three pin socket?

The JE RH1 should come with an ac adaptor that has 100-240V input so you should just need a plug adaptor.

Depends on the version you bought, as richyhu said. Some of them will come with a 100V-240V AC input voltage, others will be fixed input voltage.

Take a look at your adapter. If under "Input" it says something like "100V-240V AC 50/60Hz" then you can use it anywhere in the world with simple plug adapters. If it only has one voltage/frequency listed, you'll have to get a voltage adapter if you plan to use it somewhere with a different AC standard

Just curious, why don't you purchase the RH1 from HK, as it seems it should be cheaper, unless, you want the Silver version. You'll need to wait though. Just got mine after nearly 3 months waiting.

I have waited already one month,but they said they do not know how long I have to wait,therefore I assume it might take one year or two,but after your post,I think I have confidence now,I will wait three months ,because it is much more cheaper ,but I really want to use it to record lecture,therefore wish to buy it as fast as possible,(but 3 months is OK)

But is there difference between Japan version and the version in other countries?

Is it more durable or have other more superior qualities than average version ?Because if it is so,then more money spend on it would be preferable.

its the same thing, except the Japanese version comes with a kanji remote (RM-MC35ELK) and has the option to choose between menu languages.

Like Sparda said, the unit is the same, but the accessories differ. In addition to the different remote, other smaller differences are:

- Japanese units don't come with a 1GB Hi-MD blank

- the silver JE-RH1 (and non-JE-RH1?) doesn't come with an extra short-corded USB cable; black JE-RH1 does

- JE-RH1 comes with E931 earbuds (can't remember what earbuds are with the non-JE-RH1)

Hello metal:

What microphone do you have for your RH1,I do not know which one is best (if in Hong Kong that can be found is best).How about ECM-MS907 ,is there any where in HK can buy ?or other series ,where to find?IN sony online store,there no this mic anymore,difficult to find!
