sfbp
A bit too late on this one: http://victoria.en.craigslist.ca/ele/4575562872.html The problem being you have about 24 hours. I almost managed to pull it off but I am too far away myself. The lucky person would have to live on Vancouver Island at the least. The items listed are nothing short of amazing..... Syrius
Better yet, tell him to come and join the forum. We'll pay even better prices! (I'll pay double for the NH900!)

Just curious, why are the EH series hi-md players more than some of the recorders?
Syrius
I think it's because of scarcity and limited release. Pretty much all the Hi-MD recorders have been released in the USA and Europe, but I've yet to see the EH series outside of Asia.
Jony0801
heard of EH1 has the best sound quality and with the nice slim shape, also, it was made in Japan. Any model include 1 was flagship, In my country, the price is over 600 eurs. unbelieveable !
sfbp
With all the problems of Hi-MD (one touch at the wrong moment and you lose the whole disk), the player-only models become really useful as they guarantee nothing can happen to your precious music. Not that Sony designed it that way; there were always player-only models before HiMD, too. But they are mostly inexpensive. The EH50 and EH70 are quite affordable. But almost NO MZ-EH models were available outside Japan, is my understanding. The DH710 is a good compromise - excellent sound (#2 or #3 overall rated by Sergio/Sescoscuba), no record button or track mark, and ability to download on USB. This model was widely available outside Japan, in fact the only HiMD model I actually ever saw in a real shop.
Jony0801
In China Mainland include HongKong, we can saw them in the market, but they were made in China, same model made in japan price always 20-30% higher. In Japan local market , all md players made in japan, Japanese always kept the best quality for own. since 2005, I remember MZ-NH1 is the last model were made in japan, all MZ-RH1 (M200) made in Malaysia, the quality is not good as eariler models. That seemed sony has made the decision... to give up minidisc
