0 Ascariss
any word of release in japan? or is this unit squarely aimed at the us market?
0 pata2001
This is intended for China market (and I gues South east Asia too). I don't think this will be released in Japan, let alone US.
0 Guest Stuge
Yeah ,Sony music will never love this player to be released world wide .
0 Shinji Ikeda
Information on this players is scant, which leads to the conclusion that this will be only release in China or other markets that Sony want to get a foothold in. I would agree that this model will not be available in Japan nor Canada. Also, there is absolutely no way that it will be sold in the USA. 0 Ascariss
I would disagree from what I know that is coming from sony. there are already china only models, and I don't see why this can't be a bean replacement here in canada and elsewhere.something tells me a release in july is due. 0 AntiPod
they dont seem to be made by sony china, but i dont favour this series because it seems to be just some random brand instead of sony's product =/

0 tekdroid
Anyone seen the B100 series on sale anywhere?Sony management must be having fits. A Walkman without SonicStage and ATRAC doesn't get released without a few heads rolling, I'd imagine. Perhaps they are rolling now
0 gotthat
right now Sony only allows Sony China to make the P series, nothing else the China team will design and make as reported by Sony offical, plus the P series MP4 Sony china made would only be a playstation walkman as its best description, it's not that creative anyway, they wouldn't let Sony China team handle it everytime, plus the B series is another new series, further info will tell more of the story, definitely China only get the P series, but beside of the P series, China needs to wait for all other Sony products just like any other country, Hongkong actually gets the quickiest chance on the Sony product in Asia compare to any other countries beside of Japan, of course Hongkong gets the cheapest price too in Asia beside of Japan too Edited July 14, 2007 by gotthat

0 Shinji Ikeda
It seems that I will have to eat my words . Today I saw the NWD-B100F series in a local electronics store in Shinjuku. It is an overseas model, thus it has no support for Japanese. However, it does support English and Spanish among other languages. The unit is more bulky that the NW-E010 series, and not as easy to navigate. It however uses the same menu layout that is on the NW-S700 series. It has a range of up to 108 MHz for the radio. I do not remember the lower end.Actually, it would have been yesterday that I saw it.
0 LuLu
Anyone seen the B100 series on sale anywhere?no mention of it on sonystyle canada, only a800 and new E series. wierd. It's up now. Here's the link for the NWZ-B105FB at the Canadian Sony Style site.http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servlet/P...h=n46881n100302I like the 3 line display. I miss it from my NW407, which is mothballed. I've been using a NWE005 for every day music/podcast use. If the B100 came with larger storage I would consider it to replace my NWE005. It's only $99 - a great deal compared to the prices for everything else they've released.

0 aznbro85
SonyStyle USALooks like there's only three models that were released here in the US... a black 2GB ($79.95 USD), a white 2GB($79.95 USD) , and a black 1GB ($59.95), all three with FM Tuners. If I were in the market for one (maybe later, heh), I'd pony up the extra $20 to double the memory on this thing
0 ggoom
I am interested in buying this, but need to make sure whether Korean file/song name is supported. I talked to a customer representative at the US sonystyle today, but she said it is NOT supported. That is, I cannot see Korean characters on the display. Is there anyone who can confirm this? Thanks in advance.

0 rajveggi
B player looks bigger and thicker than the NW-E and S players, i tried it in my local store, it's kind of alright, it weighs 30 grams, so pretty light. i like the NW players better. Sonystyle store in my country shows info as: Menu Language: English / Spanish / French / Portugese / Russian / Simplified Characters / Traditional Characters / Korean
