Hey Juli Did you get these 'Bad Boys' ? if so how much, and what are they like? ( A review would be nice, unless I've missed it!)

I have brought via Connect and Itunes, but much prefer CDs as well. I also think in some ways SS works better than Itunes. I get CD info relating to some obscure CDs that I own , that Itunes never regcognises!

I think that a change in head phones may well be the solution. I have the Sennheiser CX 300's(http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-CX-300B-CX300-B-Earbuds/dp/B000E1FYQA/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-0424997-0722453?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1185225418&sr=1-3) , which are a really great product, for a great price.

To each their Own. Do you plan to get rid of it, or give it time? I'm a Bass head myself, but feel that all my needs( Bass & Volumne wise) are met with this beauty.

Amen to that. People are normally quick to complain about SS, but slow to praise it.

As my wife often tells me I am a very simple man. Also being 39 years old, I'm old enought to remember a time before computers and MP3 players, whenI use to sit infront of my hi-fi, and record vinly onto cassette tapes. Whilst I look back at those times with fondness, I also realise that new technology has benefitted my life enormsly. Bottom line: compared to times past, SS is heaven, and you won't mind me complaining. But then again, I am quite simple

I don't think that Sony will replace SS, because they would have done so already, as I'm sure that they are aware of the negative perception of their software. I see improvements on the way.

I prefer my CX300's, great SQ, great value for money, and for a poor man like me, that's good enough.

I'm sorry you feel that way Yes there are some quirks with SS, and yes in comparasion to Itunes, it may come second, but I don't think it's that bad.I have had several ipods, and as I have stated on here before, for me SQ is more important than software, hence why I no longer have an ipod. SS does it's job:getting music onto your player. I've never had any problems with it.

Don't agree with this. I have come over from Ipod/Itunes. Yes Itunes is a better software package than Sonic Stage, byt most Sony Products have better Sound quality than their Sony Counterparts. depends what Important to you. Sonic stage will get the music onto your player. I still use Itunes to listen to/buy music, but I've never had any problems with Sonic Stage. Enjoy your new player

All depends on your bitrate. I store my songs at 132, in Atrac, and for my A806, I think I'll get 400 ish onto it.

I don't like the supplied headphones. Much prefer my CX300's. To my ears, more bassier, and better all round sound. I use my A806 for the daily commute to work, but will soon start using it on my runs. What strap have you got? Hey ANGRYBADGER The case I have is OK, but the screen gets greasy, like a unprotected mobile phone screen. I ilke the case that LuLu has, and would consider this. The case I have at the moment, the buttons on the case do work the original buttonsfine, and I do like the clip on option.
