Empyrean, welcome to the forums. Are you using Windows XP? If so, please upgrade to Service Pack 2 @ windowsupdate.com. Additionally, please upgrade to Sonicstage 2.3 @ connect.com. And lastly, please make sure you don't have viruses + etc by following my recommended tips.

You are right, ROM, you cannot upload if you record in NetMD mode.

I will note that when we upgrade to the new server I will look into hosting full install files for SS 2.3 and beyond.

What do you think about that blue disc? Could it finally be a differing color Hi-MD disc? woot

I will probably continue work on this new skin, and leave the current blue one as default [forever] and modify it a little bit further asthetically. Keeping the new skin as a choice just like it is now seems to be ideal. Expect an update to this thread accordingly when the newer skin has been adjusted.

From av-watch: [i have made the above image brighter to reveal the goodies] The article has stated that there is no release date, but according to my contacts at Sony we would probably see new Hi-MD units in Febuary or March. Expect these units to probably have features that were never present before in any MD generation. I'll try and find out more!

Google was the reason the board got slammed by that worm that hit us a few weeks back. Expect '05 to be all about search engine vulnerbilities. "If you build it, they will come." "they" being viruses and exploits.

Sorry I didn't reply to your private message about the NetMD faq. I assume you found it as things now work. 75-80 songs on one minidisc in LP4 seems normal, but it all depends on the length of the song as 320 minutes is the maximum amount of time available in that mode on an 80 minute disc.

Welcome to the forums. That is a pretty damn good deal if the unit is actually functional. What version of Sonicstage are you using? What operating system are you using?

Batteries, Shopping, Disk Usage, Misc., and Acessories are done pending verification and editing. Very nice, Damage; I really respect these contributions and I can already see that this will be an extremely invaluable resource for the community. So, what's left? General, Units, Connectivity, Recording, SonicStage, and Uploading. I will start work on one in a moment as I'm really bored here at work.

The piercing does not seem to be an issue at all as far as I know, as I never venture to represent the company outside of the cubicle. I was also featured in a commercial, but the piercing isn't noticeable in such but it does display that they are comfortable as they didn't tell me to take it out before shooting. I have considered the age gap. I am only 20, whereas all of my other co-workers are 25 and beyond. But age shouldn't be relevant in this, should it? Not to be pretentious, but I've set the standard in our group for how to diagnosis virus related calls and many other issues that are commonplace. My plan(s) of attack have been widely adopted with fellow co-workers and it is not uncommon for them to come to me for tips and stuff.

Seems like this is a somewhat common problem with people and their workplace. Alternatively, I've been thinking about this and I keep wondering if there is issues with my preformance and that is why I'm being overlooked. I've had a few negative comments here and there concerning my interactions with customers, but that is natural in customer service situations, and I can say confidentally that I have been working on that and made signifigant progress. Regardless, the gears at this job turn slowly, and I'm starting to doubt that a meeting with my boss would really inspire any alterations to my inevitable part-time fate. It's so damn hard for me to swallow this for some reason, and I feel like I've lost alot of motivation at the workplace now. Additionally, alot of my co-workers are surprised that I'm not getting the shift. It's very easy for my slight obsessive compulsive nature to find faults within myself before finding faults within others.

Hi, I had an issue where I couldn't upload skins or languages, but I've fixed that [with the help of Daijoubu], and now I have complete control over the forums. Yay. So, before I even purchased this new forum software, I'd been shopping around for skins [aka a different look] and found one that really caught my eye. I've loaded it into the forums, and you can select it by going to the bottom left of the forums and selecting "Rooq + MDCF" as the skin. Like I said, I have not modified this skin at all and would look a bit different after I'm done, but the overall look would be the same. Please try this skin out and give me your impressions.
