Zombie, 700CAD is about $575 USD. Believe me, I could build you something just as functional. The only thing the Mac Mini has going for it is size and I suppose the software, but I'd have to use it first before I could really assume anything. OS X is overrated IMHO, espesically compared to the stability of OS 9.

http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/images/iProduct.gif p.s. iPod shuffle = retarded. Mac Mini = not so bad, but seriously, I've used OS X and you need alot of ram if you multitask, which this thing lacks; furthermore, the ram is outdated [ddr333] and the graphics card is laughable. But hey, it's Apple.

Batteries, Shopping, Disk Usage, Misc., and Acessories, Connectivity, Recording are done pending verification; General, Units, SonicStage, and Uploading are left. I will do General and Sonicstage.

Try recording in a non computer scenario, i.e. digital in or mic in. Additionally, are you using a USB hub? If so, plug it directly into the unit.

Correct, but I believe it works with older versions of SB, too.

Reading New Minidiscs Record Netmd Sp Lp2 On A Mdlps
Christopher replied to mimichris's topic in Minidisc
As long as the disc was recorded in NetMD mode on the NH700 and is NOT a Hi-MD disc, then yes, that is possible. ROFL, I just reread your question and good god man, what a confusing format this can be at times. -

Engineering is looking mighty attractive. Why go CompSci when all the jobs have been exported to India. As for my girlfriend, no, she won't be coming with me. This is a very hard decision for me to make, but I dropped my life to move up here before, I can do it again I suppose.

I was direct with her and she told me the reason why I'm in this new part-time position on the weekdays only is so she can observe me better - since I work those wacky hours, she's had little time to watch me in action. She informed me the reason why I was not promoted to full time was because of a few prior complaints from customers. I find this unbelieveable that she would bias her opinion off disgruntled customers and not my real preformance. She will be pretty surprised when she sees how proficient and kind I am when she does "observe" me in this new shift. Nonetheless, they are hiring someone new for the full time shift during the weekdays. I suppose the next time a full time shift opens during the weekdays, I will get it. This is still very disappointing to me, but alas, something new has come before me tonight.. I am moving back down to Georgia and I will be attending college on my Mother's bill. Since I have pre-existing full schloarships, she will pay up front and get reimbursed when each semester is done. So, screw this job, I'm going to college within this year!

Aeriyn Has Resigned From The Moderating Team.
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Announcements
Well, it is good to have another point of view, but yes, it is for the best that the current staff is more keen on MD - it presents us better to the community that we're serving and doesn't create rifts amongst us as well. As for the chapter bit, I agree, and I am very excited for MDCF in 2005. -
Aside from what ROMBUSTERS has mentioned, it also upgrades MDAC, JET database and a few other backend applications that Sonicstage employs to run correctly. With SP2, I am assured that those things are not causing the issue in this situation.

Close to buying the NH1, a few questions linger...
Christopher replied to BenJammin's topic in Minidisc
That's correct, ukraineisnotweak. Welcome to the forums, btw. -
I will look into this after the server migration. p.s. Sorry I never finished a section the other night, I shall do it tonight.

Aeriyn Has Resigned From The Moderating Team.
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Announcements
I wish you'd be a moderator, as I've asked you before. It is indeed nice having a VIP group account, however, as the differences between it and a normal account is substantial feature wise. I'm still tweaking that, though.. -
Aeriyn Has Resigned From The Moderating Team.

Eh? -
Effective immediately, Aeriyn has resigned from the moderating team. She will still be active here and be put into the VIP group. In her prime, she was an excellent moderator and I look forward to her future contributions to this community. Just to you skeptics, yes, two moderators leaving in one week is odd for a forum of this size but if you really think about it, we had too many moderators in the first place. I will probably hire someone in her place regardless.

Hello, A great feature of Invision Power Board [what this forum is currently using] is the warn feature for moderators and admins. This allows us to restrict posting indefinitely or for a select amount of days, restrict board access [ban] for a set amount of days, simply up the warning percentage of a user and more. Only you can see your own warning status. You cannot see anyone else's warning status. If we do feel the need to warn you, we will always notify you via PM as to why you were warned and a description of the punishment [if necessary]. Warnings will rarely occur though, as everyone here is so friendly.

If you've uploaded it to the computer, converted it to *.wav and it's stored on the computer, what's the big deal? Doesn't bother me at all.

Hello, I've noticed a few of you don't speak English as your native language. So why should you have to adhere to English for this interface? I've already added German support for a few of our friends, but if you would like your native language as default just make your request here and I'll see if I can add it.

ATRAC3/plus allows us to save space on discs as well..

Who needs Sony for support when you've got pros here. By the by, you should upgrade to Sonicstage 2.3 @ connect.com.
