  1. The google results have screwed up again, and it'll recess back into second position. I just applied a fix today, but the page is cached Nov. 12th and won't renew for a little while. :whatever:
  2. Thanks, Tiesto. Just friendly political terminology. The T-Board is a mess anyways; the faq's are severely outdated and actually give people an experience with MD that is not considered optimal. The majority of the faq's don't even reflect the presence of Sonicstage 2! Pathetic, and I know it's harsh for me to say so, but for this community to prosper there must be consistant and up-to-date information. I still have alot of work to do here, but we're on the right path.
  3. Welcome. I did some light research, but I can't find anything. Sorry.
  4. - #1 here: Google search for "minidisc forum" - #1 here: Google search for "minidisc forums" - #1 here: Google search for "minidisc" [yes, I know it's minidisc.org but it still counts :rasp:] "Minidisc forum" and "Minidisc forums" was a very hard obstacle to tackle, as the search listing was plagued with errors related to the sessions file - hence listing the forum description as this: ... VALUES ('494a2df12b48a1e8fdca8ae0e7bfb752', -1, 1099079088, 1099079088, '42f94023', 34, 0) Line : 233 File : /usr/home/forums/public_html/includes/sessions.php[/code] I finally corrected the error the other day and we should be #1 for as long as this forum exists. I just wanted to thank the moderators, dedicated users and other semi-regulars for their constant contribution and making this one of the best resources for Minidisc on the internet. I look forward to the future of the Minidisc format and our discussions related to such, and I am proud to administrate a forum with such great minds. btw, our total page views have completely outdone the opposition by nearly 2:1 at this point, so I wonder if this image honestly holds validity any more. /end jackass.
  5. ...and done. It's actually in the header for the Sosumi template. I need to do some work to the SubTrail template..
  6. Welcome to the forums. Please use Sonicstage 2.2 @ connect.com, or Simple Burner 2 available here. I would recommend Simple Burner 2, but you must have Sonicstage installed first.
  7. Hrm. This is an interesting issue..how many programs are running in the background when you try this? What are your system specs?
  8. *presses the red button that fires you* Internet Explorer ya drunkard!
  9. I have altered a few things with the Sosumi template. I hope that the changes are agreeable. Also, we will be upgrading to MySQL 4.1 tonight if all goes well. I don't have an ETA, but everything should be finalized by tomorrow morn.
  10. Welcome to the forums. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that the alarm doesn't work on the R500 because of lack of memory on the unit itself.
  11. Welcome to the forums. What's your maximum budget?
  12. Save the harsh response, :rasp:, Dex is sorta right. There is a way you can align the laser block, but this is not an easy procedure. Gently push the laser block back to the beginning of it's track. Sometimes the pickup gets jammed or misaligned on the sled (aka "worm gear") and it can't align it self so as to focus the pickup on the right place. In some cases it is just out of alignment and in some others the pickup gets stuck in that position alone. Pushing the sled back to its start position manually can sometimes put it "back on track" properly and sort of "reset" everything. Then when you put in the disc/close it up everything is back to normal. Same thing happened to me on a couple of units and they worked fine again after performing the procedure. While you're at it you can also dip a cotton swab in some alcohol and gently clean the lens for good measure (usually a good idea if the unit is older) but be careful the pickup is delicate!
  13. Welcome to the forums! Follow the instructions in this thread before we continue.
  14. From what I've been reading very recently, the battery life will be very disappointing for games and this will probably dissuade me from buying the unit. Too bad, Sony.
  15. Welcome to the forums, Ketto. Kaotic probably stole the words out of my mouth, but more importantly, what's the maximum budget?

  17. I'm considering buying a NH600 for cheap and use it to help. This could be cool.
  18. Oy Aer, oy. Did he set you up with good threads yet? Hey, you get MSN beta btw Mel? If so, worth it?
  19. Cor - What's the most damage you've done against him? What's your favorite bot? :rasp: Gold axe, eh? I'll have to catch up with you on MSN..
  20. I know it's the same, but do you see how it links to the rest of the header? It's offcolored slightly in IE. Highly annoying to me. :rasp:
