same here. same with pre-recorded minidiscs back in the day. UMD is a terminal format, you could as easily buy an original dvd, rib then transcode. & you'd have a movie you could watch anywhere.

a440 is right, check your system restore points for one before this happened. you wont lose any music or whatever but you may get your disk back.

seems to me they did what you wanted after you neglected to do research. so they fixed your error, at some aditional cost to you, yes, but the model you wanted costs more than the originial.

go into control panel -> administrative tools -> computer managment look for "disk managment" under the storage on the left window. make sure your 2nd disk is healthy & if it has a drive letter assigned.

yeah 106cm [42inch], SD but with an HD tuner native res of 852x480. heaps better than the old 68cm crt we've had in the living room for 12 or so years.

it only works with wired ethernet? i wonder if you plugged it into a wireless router or access point would it work? does it get assigned an i.p. address like a normal network object or does it have some other comunication system? i'm intrigued at that price.
