that's normal you have a netmd, not a himd. digital uploading is not a part of the feature set but there is an analog workaround. this thread has some ideas http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070 or you can try using marcnet's himd renderrer to assist, search the forums for more info on this.

have a look in the remote port gap, i'm pretty sure there's no contacts in there, it's just a plastic sleeve to fill the hole. what i thought was the 600d was download only but had a remote port, nth america 600 line/optical in but no remote support, europe.

what exactly are you planning on using this for? it's very old technology as as minidisc goes although no rack mount unit will be that much newer.

i always preferred the milky sony slip covers too, they don't crack in your pocket. they crack open too. i thought all slip cases did.

if you go to view topics bit is there a list of topics subscribed to? under that is a drop down box where you can choose what email options you'd like
