if you want a unit with Chinese support. do yourself a favor, just go and return that NA RH910 unit which you just bought. after that, get on ebay and look for anyone who is selling RH910 (Japanese Edition). Then, you go ahead and purchase that particular RH910, once you done that. come back to the forum, I am sure there is thread about how to set up RH910 (JE) to display Chinese characters.

COMMUNICATION --Ethernet (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T) x 3 (input x 1 + output x 2) --Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g --Bluetooth--Bluetooth 2.0 (EDR) --ControllerBluetooth (up to 7) --USB 2.0 (wired) --Wi-Fi (PSP) --Network (over IP) due to bluetooth technology, it only supports upto 7 users currently. so you and your 6 other friends can play simultaneously. Time to save the funds for hi-res HD rear projector and 170" x 90" screen, right skmetal07? @G4techtv that I saw. the clips of next Gran Tourismo on PS3 was so real. I think the title was 'vision gran tourismo' or something like that. the other clip that catches my eye was some kind of outdoor dirt track racing. the dirt flew off the tires from the vehicle ahead of you, and sticks onto your windshield. damn, the objects in those clips were so real. you guys had to see the clips to know what I am talking about. btw, G4techtv is doing live reports on E3 05' all this week, be sure to tune in guys!

whatever the description listed in Etronics is least of my worries. what worries me is that; on the sonystyle usa site. the following feature is listed in both RH-10 and RH-910 model's detail description AUTO FOCUS, FLASH, and TIMER I don't suppose, we all can start a lawsuit against Sony for Misleading?
-
that flick bored me to tears. it's god awful boring!! no wonder French renaming the title to 'Love Story' something to that effect.
-
the question still remains, as much as I like those flash players. screw sonicstage, Will it work with Mac?
-
there is only mz-nh1, and mz-nh900, and no mz-nh10 or mz-nh910. maybe you were thinking of 2G Hi-MDs?
-
I have ER6i, love it. haha, nice to see Aeriyn finally came around to use er6i.
-
I think Circuit City is phasing out MDs, and they carry less and less of Sony's portable electronics (ie heaphones, PCDPs). I couldn't even find a decent headphone under sony brand name headphone in their retails store anymore. what a shame!

OS X Tiger due out at the end of month, and BeatJam support only upto OS X Panther! is that mean, those Mac users will be left out again, if those mac users upgrade their OS? or will Beatjam come out with new version that will support OS X Tiger? hmmm....
-
glad to see more people join TEAM Hi-MD!!
-
congrats Mr. Soul little off topic here, but on their PCDP line up. D-NE20 and D-NE920 also came in boxes, and not in some plasiticky packaging. /end off topic

^sorry to say, but you'll have a long wait. that is till Sony make their sonic stage software running natively on OS X. hmm, before the site went down. someone posted that SS can be use with VPC. as in these steps. CD -> OS X -> VPC -> Window OS -> Sonic Stage -> MDR. now, as a Mac user. why would I need to go thru so many steps just put stuff on MD eh? if that person can reply would be great. how about solution #1, CD -> your portable cd player -> MDR. meanwhile, I am still waiting for this day to come sooner CD -> OS X -> Sonic Stage -> MDR. Come On now, Sony!! I know you can do it!

thanks for the pics, Jaddeth. does the unit open up (like 800) or open from the side? what other display info that is new. what I mean is on NH1 during charging, it display time remaining to be fully charged! does it have feature similiar to that? sorry for being so inquistive.
-
the simple answer NO! from FAQ pages What happens if I try to record on a 1GB Hi-MD blank with a non-Hi-MD machine? The unit will report a read error and will not read/write on the Hi-MD disc.

hmmm, interesting. I wasn't aware of that RH910 didn't include a remote. I looked at specs listed for RH10 @ datavis, it does states that RH10 does have a remote. So, I guess that's why Rh10 is cost $100 USD MSRP more than the Rh910.
-
please do post some pics when you have the time, we are still waiting!!!
-
just follow my instruction on first page, and print from that.
-
I posted the price on the first page. it's 179.00. anyhow, did you mention 'You saw it online for 179.00' to the salesguy?
-

just found out where you from, Clocker. and you just wasted your email. hehehe. Datavis doesn't sell any item to anyone outside of North America. so your best bet is still minidisc.com.au.
-
about Datavis as reseller, Tasdisr, I think you should read these threads posted back in last year. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=5631&st=15 http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=5689&st=0

at the time when I place my order, No. but remember, last year was Introduction (first year) of HI-MD delay is expected from the time Sony Announced those units to the time when Etailer has them in stock. during you ordering, If you saw the etailer lists the items as 'In-Stock' on the website, I don't forsee any delays.
