indeego replied to DJ_THE_CROW's topic in Minidisc
I know .. I can also rip to .wav, but not to openMG pcm .. I was suprised when I found that out, 'cause I also thought its available since 2.1 I´ll have to investigate whats going on there .. maybe a corrupt installation -

hey I wonder if somebody could help to get a mp3-version of the following track .. it is used with sonys walkman-page .. I emailed some japan (?) shop about this but get no response .. the track is: Fly ( Sigh & High Blue Surface mix ) by M.O.K. any help appreciated merci

I am everything but sure - maybe they are talking about the mass-storage-format .. I think the babelfish-translating is inaccurate .. feel free to get a proper translation

ADMIN EDIT BY kurisu: Please read this thread for more detailed information: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9475 av-watch announced the new MD-HUSB - babelfish not a star, but I think good move for Hi-MD .. something I am not sure how to deal with the following:
-
the feature to import CDs as MP3s as mentioned for the upcoming version 3.1 of sonicStage can be added via download for version 3.0 (works fine for me: v3, english) downloadlink @ sony.de special thanks to JoRuediger, he found the link
-
@kurisu: well, I´m a friend of a complete product and now that sony forces me to stay with my NH1 (lineOUT I´ll keep the RM-MC40ELK, so I just think people around would love to have a lcd-remote with their RH910 (maybe without lcd for the RH710)... someone told me that the Rh10s transfer seems to be faster than it is with the NH1, maybe the made some little improvements in speed matters .. @A440: sonicStage is required
-
nice pictures, jeddeth how would you rate build-quality compared to MZ-r90 and ipod? is the menu good enough (and easy!) for quick records or do you have to scroll a lot for, say, manual settings? can you say if the RH910 is faster than the NHF800 during usb-records? thanks
-
www.mp3-player.de will sell the RH10_silver in about 2 or 3 weeks (250 €) Did you find a way to get your red DH10P, kurisu?
-
no, there is a distinct difference between headphoneOUT @ level 27-30 and lineOUT; sure, its no eqivalent to a deck-lineOUT, but more convenient than nothing or just a headphoneOUT
-
well, I tried hard, but the guy from sony couldnt tell much really new things: - sonicStage will remain windows-only - sonicStage 3.0 german expected for download in may/june - absolutly no information on other units than RH10 - playback: mp3 with vbr / recording: only 128 kbit-MP3 - lineOUT - he told me: yes - I doubt it - no info on Hi-MD decks when I asked for the battery-spezifications, he showed me my forum and mindisc.org .. I guess he wasnt well informed by sony, the RH10 had only limited functions and there was now way to get a manual .. btw: found another new (offical) RH10-picture - again with lineOUT symbol .. will there be different versions for europe and japan
-
no. for the DH10P look at this picture, it says "made in malaysia"
-
I just want to let you know, that I´ve been to cebit, hannover, and could touch the RH10 - the unit is made of plastic - but the level of quality is very high (NH1 still feels better for me - I think I´ll keep it) colors for germany are black and silver, no mention of the other units like RH910 ... even not if they are going to be sold here, but there are too much weird information from sony, so I doubt it. I took some pictures, you will find them here (warning: High-Res!): RH10 silver RH10 black side: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 (look at these fingerprints ) - btw: no "lineOUT-symbol" Sony gave us a bigger display and better controls (in comparision to the NH1) and took away the robust magnesium-body and the LineOUT .. ok, the had to reduce the costs, but I dont think I´ll get this unit very soon .. thats really quiet disappointing as long as there are no decks to connect to my hifi minidisc goes mp3-player-charme - thats not really what I want the RH10 looks more like a mp3-player with extended features
-
never trust these sony-product-pictures, Hironiemus there has been to much wrong information, for example NH1s´ cradle with usb, NH700 with optical output .. and now RH10 with lineOUT thanks for the pricture, Peel.
-
Peel, can you please tell me if there is a lineOUT on the RH10 ?
-
connect your walkman, start ss3.0, klick on the "device/media info" button an then chose "initialize" ..
-
- they are, indeed. maybe this page is also interessting for you: http://hi-md.net/ after the intro, klick "audio X visual", then klick three times the button below the MZ-DH10P and you will be able to scroll online through some pics via the menu of the MZ-DH10P just for those of you who can´t wait
