I am pretty sure his email address is still active. Give it a couple of days... I am sure he will respond accordingly.
  4. Of course - just right-click and "save target as.."
  5. Unless I missed it, there are absolutely no references [from the firmware update page] to the author's claim that the firmware upgrade apply additional volume cap.

    London Bombing

This is extremely sad indeed. I hope all our Londoner members are safe and ok. Please keep us posted. Prayers and good thoughts go out to victims and their families.
  10. That remote is not compatible with the MZ-E10. The MZ-E10 can only employ either the RM-MC33ELU or RM-MC35ELKU remote. Please review MDCF's A Guide to Sony LCD Remotes for further clarification.
  11. Please download its service manual in the download section and review the instructions accordingly.
  12. Try and reinstall the device drivers from the bundled VAIO Pocket VGF-AP1L CD-ROM (in x:\Device\Driver). If you still have issues, try reinstalling one regional version of SonicStage 3.1 over your current version - this method has been discussed thoroughly; run a search accordingly within "Software Discussion/FAQ's" section. In addition, install and update VAIO Music Move to version 1.2 if you haven't done so. *refer to the VAIO Pocket VGF-AP1L Pictorial I have created - the links to the utility is located at end of the first post.
  13. Indeed, it's already available in Japan - please check Mikami's review for further details. As usual, if there are plans for its release elsewhere, it will take at least one quarter of the year.
  14. It is plausible to state that the RM-MZ4R will only provide basic playback function - but you should just acquire a better remote such as the MC40ELK, MC35ELK or MC55ELK to coupled with the RH910.
  15. No difference - both has identical plugs. Essentially, the Japanese MC35ELKU features 2-line LCD display that displays one character at a time rather than one pixel at a time. In addition, the MC35ELKU supports kanji text and provides better resolution than the MC33ELU.
  16. Since you have discerned that the disc is not at fault, it's plausible to state that the optical unit of your N710 is damaged.
  17. Welcome to MDCF. By removing the disc before its TOC update, you may have corrupted other data within the disc. Use SonicStage or the unit itself to delete/format that disc in question. That should render the disc usable.
  18. That's significant cheaper; especially for the RM-MC35ELKU.
  19. You could try eBay, but the E10 remote is one of a kind. If you need the remote immediately, the best place to get it is Sony DAPC. However, the RM-MC33ELU (assuming you've the non-Japanese MZ-E10) remote will cost you; it is available for $82.95. [Part # 147758511, RM-MC33ELU] If it's beyond your budget, you can get the headphone adaptor for $33.95 instead. [Part # 181692111, PC-WM10 Headphone Adaptor]

  21. Rest assured. This topic has been thoroughly discussed - the Japanese version do not have titling issues.
  22. I am not familiar with "where to shop" in Europe, but I know for certainty that you can grab the 40GB version of VAIO Pocket in London.
  23. First of all, I would suggest that you upgrade your version of SonicStage to version 3.1. Please select your regional choice accordingly from this thread. If the problem still persists, please post back with your system specs according to technical/software posting rules.
