Yes, that is correct. If I remember correctly, it does not have the recording functions of the RM-MC40ELK. After all, the RM-MC55ELK was designed for Sony's newer PCDP. But I will confirm this feature once I get back from vacation.

I employ four Western Digital 160GB HDD using Macally's external 3.5" HDD USB 2.0. Just install the HDD in question into the external enclosure and connect it to your system. It’s that simple. You do not need to configure WinXP to recognize the drive.

Try downloading the file once again. The final file size in your Windows Explorer will read 3,224KB.

It should be 3,224 kb upon download.
