If I remember right, somebody posted about this topic, and the solution was to uninstall and reinstall the sonic stage. It's possible as well that it has been spoiled for any reason. regards

I can't help you as for the earbuds cause I detest them. The sound is really awful and I have tested some throughout my life. The last ones I bought were the Sennheiser CX 300, ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH. No bass at all and a very poor sound. I know not everybody likes the type of SENNHEISER PX-100 but are the only ones who "sound". In addition to the senheisser there are other two that sound very well; the AGG K 26 P (marvellous base) and the KOSS SC-55 (for me, overall, the best of the three). But if you want bass, try the AKG and you won't be disappointed. regards

May be true may not. It's simply some speculation I don't think it is too much fundamented. I don't believe sony should abandon minidisc. It's Sony's succesful creation in Asia and Europe. They have to support all the people who owns a mindisc. I think the hi-md is a great invention, light years ahead from mp3 and with enormous possibilities. Who knows if next year we have 2gb minidiscs on stores? Time remains to be seen regards from Spain

Lucky you. At least in the USA the gadget won't be volume capped like it sure will be in Europe. You can buy another remote but we have to find out how to remove that annoying restriction. regards

You have convinced me with your reasons. Only two things I don't agree with. 1/ I know a place on the internet where the rh-1 will be cheaper with taxes included 2/ Don't feel like carrying with a portable amplifier I guess my Sennheisser CX-300 and the Koss 55 will be efficent enough As for the rest, I think it's better to buy it here. Nearly the same features. I'm interested in buying it outside Europe because of the capped volume. I don't want a capped one and that's not possible in European models, unless you know this is going to change, which I doubt bye

I'm going to buy the new RH-1 and would like to know if I will have any trouble using it in Europe and what's in favour and against of buying it from an american website. I mean different voltage and so on. Is it worth buying anyway? Regards

Which Sony minidisc offers the best sound in all?. I'm taking into account the possibility of buying a hi-md player/recorder and what interests me most is THE SOUND QUALITY above any other aspects. Is it important if the amplifier is HD or not? Do you think sony will release new hi-md players comparable to the new RH-1 as far as sound quality? thanks

I guess not due to a Frech law but a European directive (unbelievable stupid idea ). Otherwise, anyone could buy a non capped one in another european country. What I don't know is if one bought outside the EC would work in Europe. I mean, what happens to a European who buys a non capped md in the USA for instance?. Is there any trouble with voltage and so on?. What a nuisance for the ones who love having enough power!. I hate to raise volume over 75%. It's my ears and I do with them what I want. I don't need anyone telling me if something is hazardous for my health or not. I'm an adult to know that . regards

I would like to know the output of this gadget (European one). For instance, I know that the mp3 player I-audio M5 is 20w + 20 w but I can't find anywhere this data on the R-10 minidisc.I tried the i-audio and the output is great especially in noisy places. I got an old md and the output is only 9w +9w which I consider poor. This technical feature is important for me in view to buying the RH-10 Thanks

I've got some questions, if you are so kind to answer them 1/ Can I upload and download the files with no restriction from pc to hi-md? 2/ Should it be any restrictions about hi-md, which are they? 3/ Can I use another soft different to sonicstage or simple burner? 4/ Does shuffle mode play songs without repeating them? 5/ Can I download mp3 files to the hi-md with drag'n'drop from windows explorer? thank you very very much for your answers

my phones are the wonderful Sennheiser PX200. Whatever it is, I will try it before buying it. By the way, I tried the Sonicstage 3 and it is rubbish. Sony would be ashamed to have such a stupid software.
