  1. I have my old MZ-R700 and she always in my car for 3 years (tropical weather), drop many time but she's still OK and I still love it more than my new rh910
  2. Not sure what is your problem with SS but you're not alone buddy . SS in not cheap is it free that is why... BTW you mention MD, how did you record those records? Is is from your RH10?
  3. Is the iPod shuffle has line in? If none I would not bother to compare
  4. As for it Replacing MD's --I don't really think so --- labelling and archiving loads of microdrives for playing at home woulds be TOO finicky -- you can get stuff that's just TOO small to handle. -K ←
  5. Welcome to forums! So what is your question or problem?
  6. M-Audio Microtrack is for recording (listening is unlikely $$$), MD is for recording + listening (cheap media).
  7. Guys, See my post http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=12138&hl= I had the same problem (ss3.0 and RH910). I upgraded to ss3.2 and everthing is fine now (at least). I still keep my corrupted MD hoping to recover someday

    Erasing again.

Welcome fenrir to MDCF! I never had a pre-recorded MD so I can't help your problem but try checking if the lock tab in your your MD is lock and try unlocking it. If doen't work I think I suggest forget about the MDs that comes with unit and get a new set of MDs it's not that expensive. Good Luck!
  11. Welcome, nomad0410 to MDCF, me either don't know what you are asking, anyway try this link as well. http://www.sonydigital-link.com/Shared/ASP.../2588601111.pdf
  12. Try this online installer link it works for me. Good Luck http://www.sonydigital-link.com/dna/sonicstage/SS32.asp
  13. you need a 3.5 mm mini stereo plug cable click here and you should plug into your sound card line in -check your laptop coz most of the laptop has no line in only mic in. You need a recording software. Too many out there some are freeware just search.
  14. I installed my ss3.2 from this site http://www.sonydigital-link.com/DNA/SonicStage/SS32.asp?l=en
  15. It's simply an external drive but USB1.1 meaning sloooow. BTW is not only available in Japan.

  18. I do the same and I don't think this a bad habit. Just to save the life of my battery.
  19. I already tried HIMDRenderer before to convert the file but didn't work.
  20. What makes you think (guess) that?
  21. By the way I'm interested to install the ss3.2 and I'm planning to install directly from Sony website http://www.sonydigital-link.com/DNA/SonicStage/SS32.asp?l=en
  22. Volta, thank you for your reply.
  23. Hello Volta, thank you for your support and you are the first one to reply my post and welcome as well. I open a new post "SonicStage and MZ-RH910 Nightmare!" http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=12138 and follow your suggestion. Syrius, thank for your reply BTW I use ss3.0 and recorded in Hi-MD.
  24. I'm using my r700 for recording for quite sometime and I thought that changing to HiMD saves my time in realtime recording to pc. I bought a MZ-RH910 and tested few minutes of line to line in recordings before I use it for my live recording and it works. The following day I recorded a live recording through the line out of mixer and line in to my rh910. Below is the description of my problem: OS: Windows XP SP2 SonicStage 3.0 MZ-RH910 1. I recorded a live recording through the analog input (Hi-SP, 1G HiMD disk) 2. I deleted the track marks, played in my rh910 and works fine 3. I connected my rh910 to my ss3.0 with default config (USB port v1.1) 4. Renamed the track 5. Transfered the file and got an transfer internal error after 30+% transfer 6. Restarted the SS3.0, changed the USB cable then reconnected my rh910. 7. I transfered the file again then a message pop up something like adding a copyright/license (can't remember exactly) and I clicked OK. 8. Suddenly my track was gone in "Transfer" window and didn't saw any transfer process. 9. I disconnected my rh910 and planned to record in realtime but when I played "No Track" wasdisplayed. 10. I reconnected my rh910 to pc without ss3.0, the files was still there. I can tell because of the file size. 11. I searched my pc and I found the file with the same filename with ".oma" extension (see Step 4) in "Packages" folder. 12. I imported to ss3.0 then play but got this message "Can not playback this track. Do you want to connect to the Internet..." 13. I clicked OK then another message "There is an invalid right management..." and CAN'T PLAY THE TRACK! 14. Now, I've got the file in my PC but can't play! I still have the file in my HiMD disk but can't see the track and play! I recorded another live recording again through analog input using another disk and the transfer process was fine and the only difference was: 1. I didn't delete the track marks. 2. I selected the option to save to wav file. Can I still recover MY OWN (not Sony) recorded track? Please help, any suggestions? I really need to recover the track so I can distribute. PLEASE
