no,, i don't have THAT disease;; i meant the Digital/Analogue code to let us know HOW the CD was recorded;;mastered and whatever..

first D means it was recorded digitally as the artist was performing.. "A" would have meant using OLD analogue tape machines..

2nd "D" means it was edited/mastered digitally (i think);; "A" wudda meant on analogue equiptment..

3rd "D" means;; ???? i think it was "Pressed" digitally;; but not sure..

maybe someone cas explain better;; but absolutly i hav no disease..

Jus messin wit ya Ray :crazy:

lol,, i could have been;; i had it all;; the talent;; the ability;; the "DREAM";; and i WAS famous you can say in my area..

i started with a 5 piece band;; then 4;; then 3;; then duo;; then about 20 years as THE one man band with all my fweakin synths..

((42 years in all;; plus about 9 as a DJ inthere somewherezz))..

i turned down all the contracts;; i fought the "system" i F***ed the world;; and got away with it..

basically;; my FATHER helped me out as a musician before i started making REAL money;; got me everything;; then he got sick and i wouldn't leave the area;; or him.. the big money didn't mean anything;; all i did was make rich ppl richer and turned jerks into assholes;; including myself..

ask my two "X's" (who still love me);; and my present (sp) wife who adores me for my open-ness ??sp??!!

if yous could do half the things i've done in my life;; youss would be on the road to happiness..

isn't happiness the biggest part of "Da Pie;; why;; shy guys fail;; wise-guys prevail..

*and i NEVER did drugs+ this is really "me" rayzray..

i cudda been famous;; could write songs;; could play;; was a great asshole;; everyone says i should write a book about myself..

F**k them;; *as i sit her in my lonely PC chair with all me memories*..

i am HAPPY;; i F***ked the world and got away with it..

now i teach my students and grandchildren how to..

Late Edit]] i actually used audio clips of this CD on my permanent DJ'ing MD's for Parties;; they are funny..

sometimes semi-comedy just overrides common music..

You are a lucky man rayzray, ley us know when you listen to it, should be good, Rush don't often make a bad record.

As for me,

just finished Wolf city by Amon Duul 11, and now I'm listening to Volk by Laibach, thier takes on 13 national anthems, sounds good so far,

i finally loaded it into my two Hi-MD900's and listened to it as i took my evening "nap";; i think i got about 5 songs in "consciencely" mmmm (sp);; i thought they were good ,, but not great;; that is;; not "Rush-like" or not Rushistically..

are they trying to go "Pop"?? or are they losing their "PoP'' STOP;; let me try it again;;STOP!! crop this a bit;; RUsh is Rush;; and we love them no matter how many Driers they need on a stage..

late next day edit]] ok,, so i found time in my long day of doing almost nothing to listen to the rest of the album;;

i kinda like it from Track 6 on;; it's more Rushy;; plus i have the volume UP ^^^^ and my daydreaming DOWN vvvv..

who's harmonizing??

so far i only like Tracks 6 and

Track ?? (The Way That Wind Blows)..

i think they are "losing it" they should "hang it up";; if they can't do better than "This";; maybe they should start writing "comic books" or something;; maybe a TV comic series..

and i can't seem to find the "Drum solo'' ;; i always looked forward to the "drum Solos";; wtf;; soooo much talent in this group;; are they "getting old"??!!

still trying to "Digest" Rush's NEW CD!! i am taking the word for it from my internet/member friend that it's great;; and rumors from other members that is is great;;

i am hanging my personality for this and trying to get an open mind;; but refuse to LISTEN to the lyrics;; i cant figure out where all those harmonizing voices are coming from;; possibly from an old Roland Harmonizer MIDI'd to the keyboard/computer.. like the one i still have..

i am up to 4 songs i like;; 3 more and i concider the CD a success.. not a sucksess..

i am toying with the fact (as i listen to this);; with putting it digitally onto a standard MD and "Deviding" it to death and "programming it into a wonderful Rayzray Remix.. *how da hell u spell deviding & concider*..

what ever;; i CAN find time for Rush in my "Rushed" world..

thanks Sony MD-Deck;; for making me a phat man!!

i am listening to my (Girl Version) of Barry Gibb's "To love somebody",, sung by him on American Idol last night;;

but of course,, i can't give my piano student (Girl) a "MAN"S" version with the words "I'm a Man....";; so i put it in my Sony MD Deck;; and sliced out the word "Man" and went to the same measure in the 1st verse and devided out the word "Way"..

soooo, he sings "I'm a-way" which is much better for a girl to sing along with than the "I'm a Man" version..

just one of the things that makes Minidisk the BEST media for editing and make be the BEST "Phat Guru" around here (R.I. USA)..

then,, i took Jordin's two songs and edited them TOGETHER in a seamless medley (To Love Somebody/Woman In Love) and impressed my wife;; i think i am gonna get desert tonight..!!

listening to an F22 doing rounds over head , it is raining and dark up there so visibilty is zero so he has to be flyin by wire , but he is awful close to treetop at times. They are putting that bird thru its paces , very different sound from the 16's always around here. Vectored engines and fully controllable airsurface.

That is a lot of aircraft to be toying with

BTW, I got the Rush album, goes back a bit, but sounds pretty good to me, I really like the instrumentals.

it is growing on me;; and i am forcing myself to like it cause of all of yous liking it..

i DO "BUY" all of Rush's cd's and DVD;; and i WILL buy their DVD of this when it comes out;; they ARE one of the greatest bands ;; they just like to "Toy" with us..

and Guitarfxr::

why didn't you record the F22;; it must sound different in that inclimate weather;;

TullFan just saw them at an air-show in Va-USA

and,, didn't one just "Crash" not too long ago at an air-show??

I GOT IT!!

i was listening to the RUsh CD in my bedside Hi/MD900;; and was bored;; so,, i put it on a faster speed (EDIT:: 18% faster);; i "LIKE" it;; THAT's what was wrong with it;; it was toooo slow.. (EDIT:: i believe a HI-MD unit CANNOT do just 18% speed adjustment;; it has incraments)..

so,, now i am listening to the CD play on my big azz Numark Axis9 DJ-CD-Deck;; and have the speed boosted up a bit..

now,, it is "Rockin";; like even my cats are switching rooms..

i am putting it on my "Zebra" Standard MD;; gonna edit it and zap it to a CD-R for archiving..

then wend it to my Hi-MD900's for to Party With at da coffee shoppe..

this is fweakin good;;"Meditation Medication' as they sing ;; or is it vice versa??

so,, one of my piano students (girl 23 yrs old) asks me to copy three belly-dancing VHS tapes to DVD;; soo i do;; then i even make Chapters;; then,, i just watch them for a while just to make sure i done it right;; LOL..

now,, i make an audio CD of the belly-daning songs;; there are NO names for the songs on the VHS Tape;; so i name them by numbers.. (Dance 1,, Solo 1 etc)..

now,, they are in my Hi-MD900's;; i am ready to try MY belly-dance routines at da coffee shoppe.. and that's what i am listening to..

listening to a rough edit of my remix or Rush's Snakes & Arrows (on a standard MD);; where,, i (rayzray) takes out ALL the vocals of the whole CD and leaves just the intrumentals;; intros;; turnarounds;; licks and bits;; even a one measure lick is fine for me;; i can loop it into an 8 measure diddy;; not "P" but me..

it sounds good so far;; just needs to be re-adjusted and re-aligned;; possibly re-fixed and re-twixed..

i probably can make a drum solo in there somewheres;; and extend that loney treble-pick-a-dilly bass riff which seems rare hare;; bare with me;; i'll let you know if i can get this better than this..

[Quick update} going EXTREMELY well;; i can listen to this all day!!
