lingenfr
Those do look neat. However, I can't keep that type in my ear. Hopefully they will rethink the hard plastic cylinder approach.

Otherwise, Awesome!!!Maybe you dropped a 'don't' but they don't come with their own MP3 player, just headphones.http://us.gizmodo.com/gadgets/portable-med...buds-136777.phpHowever, it looks like we would need a minidisc/ogg (ok mp3 too) player with bluetooth capability to use them. It's just the buttons on the side looked a lot like track skip to me. Yeah, and it would be a lot cooler if that base thing had a minijack, so you could plug in anything. MDX-400
Pretty cool, are these using bluetooth technology (or some other standard) or are they just proprietary wireless?
AMPlitude
bluetooth... now if only sony would make a 3rd gen. Hi-Md with bluetooth...
dex Otaku
HiMD with bluetooth - great for player-only units, but since HiMD and MD recorders use unbalanced mic cables, they'd likely be completely useless for recording [due to electromagnetic/radio frequency interference] unless the bluetooth were disabled when doing so. garyc
What sort of battery would be used to power them? Would want to be pretty small
Spare Tire
Powered by your own sex-appeal when wearing these!Or not. There's nothing wrong with wires people! Stop complicating your lives. The transmitter is one more dangling thing you have to carry. I wont be convinced till they reduce the size of that thing by 10x and that it wouldn't require batteries to operate.
brian10161
spare tire is right, its just another thing to carry with you. wouldn't it just be easier if sony made a Hi-MD unit with that built in? then youd have to use sony headphones wouldn't ya? oh well, w/e. my wired Plantronic headphones seem fine to me lol

I'll take wires over wireless anyday. Those plantronics concepts are slick though. I don't particular like buds, but they are cool nonetheless.
