I'm sorry Stephen, I didn't post the link to advertise my sale. I wanted seoscuba to see what I was talking about. The TDK PRO minidisc must be rare, because I already have one bid on it ($9.99) and still 6 days to go. On a serious question, what about the Sony MD2000 MiniDisc??? How rare are these? I have 5 of those, but don't worry, I won't listed here or advertise it here if you don't want me to. I just wanted some information on a recent bulk MiniDisc purchase I made through craigslist, which was 80 new Sony color MDs, 115 new HHB MiniDiscs, 5 new Sony ES MiniDiscs, and 5 Sony MD2000 MiniDiscs. I paid $83 total for all of these.

HHB minidiscs will only work on HHB recorders? That can't be true, they should work on any md recorder.

I don't understand, why is HHB fake? Are they a no-name brand? I see some ebay listings selling each MD for $6-10 each.

Thanks. Do the pictures look good enough, not too dark??? I'm really not very good at taking pictures of gadgets up close. The picture ends up being too dark, too bright or too blurry. The only other MZ-NH1 currently on ebay is from a guy in Hong Kong, charging $350 plus $20 for shipping. I figured that was a good starting price. I may drop the price by a few dollars every few days until someone buys. I've got 5 watchers so far.

Craigslist! I've seen them on there for as low as $120.

I've compared recordings from a portable Type-S/R recorder (MZ-NF610) vs MDS-JE520 (ATRAC 4.5.) and the portable Type-R recorder produced recordings more closely to that of the CD source. So I can honestly say that: ATRAC Type-R home deck > ATRAC Type-R portable > ATRAC 4.5 home deck, in terms of recording quality.

In my honest opinion the mz-rh1 had the better sound. But nothing can replace digital megabass from the '90s.

I only sell genuine pre-recorded MD albums, not copies. I'm not selling my home decks. By the way, I just bought an MZ-NH1 with accessories from craigslist for $50 total. What should I do? Sell it on this forum for $75? Not going to happen. It will go on ebay soon...

I dont own an ES or JB home deck, so I dont know what over priced stuff you are talking about. Why are you resorting to insults?

So of the 2 albums you mentioned, which one sounds better? The md copy or the pre-recorded version? I'm sure that Sony would have advertised Atrac 4.0 and above on the pre-recorded album cases.
