MZ-1 and MZ-N1 are different units. MZ-1 is the very first MD being sold, it have a good value on the audio vintage market (this is why repair it is acceptable). MZ-N1 is the very first Net-D unit. Except if you find the solution by yourself, this is easier to buy another Net-MD on eBay & Co.

Open it, search for hardened grease and belt. Solve also this problem.

As for me with my Net-MD work team MDS-JB980, MZ-NH600 & MZ-N710 used for my LP2 recordings.

Any 5V out Power Bank will do the job.

I believe there is a difference (if you have a good Hi-Fi system) : the JE530 has the ATRAC DSP Type R and the MZ-R35 has not, meaning that there is a difference during recording.

An easier and cheaper way to print a label is to print it on a standard paper then fix it with large scotch sticker (making sure there are only very tiny air bubbles), doing the same with the thin banner on the side. Just making sure you do not scratch the MD with the cutter. @reminiz rather than your full design vinyl (yes I am myself afraid of using heat gun @Roger2005), you should try drawing pencils like Poscam® which can fulfill your creativity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bbcMYDnOrM A software like IPaint-Machine can help you a lot. KMS--210A is share by MDS-302 - MDS-S30 - MDS-303 - MDS-S35 - MDS-503 - MDS-JA3ES - MDS-JA50ES this explain you why eBay auction is soooooo expensive (and why 302 and other cheap units have also disappeared from eBay or are proposed at the same goooood and expensive price) I would rather buy another deck

Any generalist electronic shop has such "universal" or "multipurpose" 3 V AC to DC Adapters, just need to check if the adaptor have the thin yellow metal plug for MD players included.
