its not sweat, my ex81s are pretty duffed, i just keep an eye on them and tape them up whenever i need to.

I think they've already duffed it up by limiting the rez on on video playback. i mean come on. Add that to the fact it only plays one codec! I suppose you cant expect much more as its more suited to gamers.

I myself wouldnt buy UMD movies, Its just why a JP psp and not even have the option to watch them. Next thing you know they've come out with a UMD burner over here and I cant play those discs.

what i wanted to know was if the UMD Movies are the same region for Japan And the UK??? DVD's are supposed to BOTH be region 2. Anyone confirm that the JP PSP will play UK UMD Movies????

im not a 'real user' but i would get it anyway, even if to just use it for video playback, there will be more games out there. If you get the JP version from audiocubes, its region free on the games, so you can get more games from the states etc.

Im sure it wont damage it one bit. Hassle putting in ur bag?? I always dump my wallet, cell phone, nw-hd5 in one of those little tubs they give you. That goes through the machine, but you just put your things back into your pockets after.

Ive had this sort of problem before,Just open the Connect music store window, search arounf the screen for 'help' or something to that effect. Then tell them the problem, and let them help. They didnt take longer than a few days with me.

flame retardent? LOL who cares about flame retardent? I mean they manufacture stuff to have high heat resistance anyway. not exactly like playing a dvd is going to make it catch fire lol. Besides, if something else causes a fire, it wont be the dvd player you worry about but your whole house.. I am all for caring about nature, but how does having flame retardent dvd players save nature>?

You sure it isnt the noise of the hard disk? I get a small noise whenever my HD5 is accessing the hard disk. It doesnt bother me. If you are not sure what I mean, press menu from when the unit is switched off, and you will hear a slight noise through the earphones. It stops when the unit isnt 'accessing the hard disk' anymore.

Dont use connect as its a hassle to redownload the rights to your music, you have to send an email and so on. Why bother? I would just get an mp3 with other means, er herm, or just buy the original.

Exellent comparison dude I have an hd5, and when I connect my audio technica ATH-A900'S to it, the output of the hd5 is not powerful enough as the music goes very quiet when you pump the music up to volume number 25, almost as if they are chewing the life out of the player haha. My MZ-R909 minidisc on the other hand, is able to play music up to volume 25 at a very normal standard, not as good as listening through a hifi system, but the music is listenable as the headphone has *just* enough power to run my cans, the hd5 doesnt.

anyone heard of the game 'pong'? It was a game that was around arcades at the time of puzzle bobble, it has the same sort of dragon guys in it.

well u cant blame me for thinking there was a standard one for each model of lap top. I'll probably just take it to some crappy place like pc world and see what they say.

are laptop models not given standard motherboards?

no the ones ive got right now arent kingston, but i wanted to go for them from what ive heard about them. I cant really be sure, I have the manual for the lap top, but am not sure. I am just being lazy here i admit it, but if anyone feels they have the time or expertise I'd appreciate your help. From looking at the kingston web site it says it supports 333mhz.I dont really understand the bandwith thing, I thought 1 gig ram = 1 gig bandwith>? Can you elaborate in lamen terms please? If u check out the link i put at the top, it says that the 333mhz are supported but will run at the slower speed, is that for real? So theres no point going for the faster one?
