V1.2 works fine for me also NW-HD5 in Vista Ultimate 32bit also no probls save play etc

If i get it i might have to get the bluetooth but will cost an extra $200

Just went into the sony store it seems we were mistaken as the black 8GB one was there for $399. Dont let me be its next victim i am waiting for a 20GB one. So tempting though

I think sonys strategy against apple is to beat them to the phone market, iPod owns the MP3 market but maybe SE can 'Own' the mp3 phone market, because it is the future and i think that is why apple is creating the iphone. Apple will face tough compition from nokia and SE. But back on topic some SE phones work better than the MP3 conterparts as the dont require sonicstage which in my books is a big plus when you can get phones with 20GB HDD or Flash memory you might see the mp3 market diminish just like the PDA market is

We allways get ripped of when the NW-HD5 first came out they wanted $550 for it, i am not getting the NWA-800 unless its around $350 max $400. Otherwise there is no reason to leave my HD5. Throwing money away, they might release a 20GB DnD one soon For $347 from NZ i just might buy it there

I am looking forward to more reviews also, still in a mixed mind about it. PSP videos will not work on the NWA-800 but videos formatted for iPod will work which is weird i know but thats the truth look it up if you dont believe me

What accessories are there and do you know when it will be coming to australia

I am located in Melbourne, Australia. I went to the Sony UK site they had a picture of the A800 and the s700 but the line in only worked with the s700. I had a minidisk before my hd5 which came with a remote with a blacklight was really handy so i could see the tracks at night. Australian prices are more dear then US prices. A800 doesnt include AC adapter which for me is a must Bluetooth Adapter + Bluetooth Headphones which will surely cost $200 are needed if i want any type of remote function. And i would like a dock. PS: My remote from my minidisk displayed the track, was able to shuffle and repeat, voulume, time remaining and playback features that is all i need from a remote. I dont mean to carry on, but i just want to clear up statements made in the past. PS: Does any one know of any A2DP and AVRP(think thats what it is) remotes that have a screen and would work with two devices eg. phone and mp3

We dont know how many of the accesories will work witht the a800 on the sony site it says the line in doesnt work with the a800. Plus why should i pay an extra $200 for bluetooth and remote earphones for soething similar i had before

It means i dont have to take it out and doesnt take additional space. I like sony because they are inovative, the remote in my opinion seperated it from ipods and the like, s7xx are shapped like a remote so in that sense it wouldnt need one. But honestly what does this new walkman have that a video ipod, creative zen vision:m or toshiba gigabeat sXX doesnt have. Nothing so i would like something eg a LCD remote that makes it unique

Remotes were in min disk the NW-HDX and the a1XX so why shouldnt it be in the A8XX

So i finally decided to join AtracLife so i can get some help with this problem. I tried this : "Automatically computed keys in GYM" But now GYM Doesn't work, i have these weird .MA files, rouge files that add up to 250GB on a 20GB drive which i can't delete. I can't move the OMGAUDIO folder as it has some of those rouge files in it which can't be deleted And a rouge folder which can't be deleted. So please help me, even though MP3Manager works so i can get music on the device and the device itself is working. GYM won't work or sonicstage.
