also NetMD is just seen as a convenience when u wanna transfer music files from ur computer to the MD faster than realtime...itz a time saver but not realli neccessary...
-
i'v had a sj-mr220 b4...i'd recommend it 2 u...very nice unit...
-
yes the remote on the panasonic units do display enlish...(unless they have changed this anyone correct me) but i'v had panasonic units in the past and i'v never run into any trouble with them...
-
yep i gotta agree wif darK (aka Tharaka) above, those units do hav an optic output...the Panasonic SL-CT790/800 also hav optic outputs also
-
hehe...i'v also saw that ad and thought it was 2 good 2 b tru... but i'v been 2 digital city and the last time i checked they didn't hav an N1 in stock... :x so i basically got it @ G&V Imagaing across the road instead...good deal that...if you show them the ad they mite giv it 2 u 4 that price.... best of luck 2 ya!!!
-
i think they do hav 1 out now...the Panasonic SL-CT800 has mp3 cd playback capabilities as well as having an optic out (if i'm not mistaken) it's a relatively new product so u can take a look @ it... hope this helps

maybe he wanted 2 get the effect of surround sound??? who knows...
-
hehe...sorry just used 2 icq slang that's all...

as dannn has said the 12 duz'n hav very smooth scrolling but da backlite is beta...if u don't care about displaying japanese/chinese characters on ur remote then i'd say don't worry bout the 12 and get the 11 since itz cheaper...the 12's font is wierd...the english titles hav huge spaces in between each character and the font doesn't look as nice as the 11...when it comes 2 japanese/chinese characters however it's sposedly meant 2 look beta on it n i do agree...both r good remotes as dannn has outlined above there r pros n cons 4 each...the choice is up 2 u... 8)

bah that was me above...forgot 2 log in... :x

oh rite...ic...that link was 4 sonicstage if ne1 wanted 2 d/l it... i d/l the patch 4 openmg...i dun dat much difference but it dun freeze 4 no apparent reason anymore datz bout it...otherwise itz suppose 2 fix a few bugs here and there on openmg u could take a look @ it...
-
hmmm...well u could try here : http://aboutjsp.com/~ms1981/SonicStage1.5_ENG.zip this is ware i d/l from itz kinda slow @ times and doesn't work 100% in FlashGet but it will still d/l... again if this link is stuffed then let me know...Sony patches...i don't think itz neccessary 2 d/l these (as i don't) but if u do want to then they should b up on the net sumware...

Most of the Sony earbuds come with 16mm drivers except a selected few (namely the MDREX70 which has a 9mm driver and the MDRE827G which hav a 13mm driver)...otherwise all the rest hav 16mm drivers... the diff between the 818's and the 838's is just the frequency response...the 818's hav a 12-22000Hz frequency response while the 838's hav a 10-23000Hz frequency response...+ the mini plug on the 838's are gold plated... both those earbuds u mentioned are basically the same juss different lengths...the SP has bout 40cm cord while LP has about 1.2m cord...SP's r beta if u want 2 plug the headfones in2 ur remote since itz shorter and u dun hav all this unwanted cord dangling around...i own a pair of 838's and they'r not bad actualli...so i would recommend it 2 u...otherwise if u dun care bout the brand i suggest u go and take a look @ the Sennheiser range of earbuds they'r also quite good i hear

hmmm...try installing the English version over the top of it (i did this) n it worked...otherwise try the uninstall procedure again if it doesn't work then i don't know wotz wrong wif it sorri...
-
Panasonic do have beatjam though i would think that itz like openmg (anyone correct me if i'm wrong) but otherwise ur best bet would probably be RealOne as Bazirker has said...
-
as dannn has said the N1 transfer the titles when u transfer the songs from ur PC -> MD thru NetMD software u use...no need 2 title them manually...saves time n is a BIG convenience when it comes 2 titling...evrything is done thru the PC...
-
heyy there...u can d/l the english version of Sonic Stage 1.5 here : http://www.minidisct.com/forum/showthread....=&threadid=8654 hope this helps...and if the link is broken don't hessitate 2 msg me so that i can go and look 4 another 1...
-
so far as i kno no unit except the Aiwa units hav a backlight on the main unit...the S1 does indeed hav a backlight but the others that u state do not...
-
as Shorty has said this may b a software problem...as suggested try 2 re-install the netmd dirver again n test it out...if it still doesn't read then try and start Simple Burner up without the N1 in the cradle and once the program is up dock the N1 in itz cradle and c if it does read it (i find this works with my N1 most of the time if it does not read)...otherwise try rechecking ur connections to and from the computer... u could also try other software like Sonic Jukebox or the buggy OpenMG...hope this helps... 8)

heyy there, um u could d/l the english version of openmg here : http://www.minidisct.com/forum/showthread....=&threadid=8654 i fink dat mite work but not 2 sure u can check it out...and as Leland has said try re-installing the driver 2 c if it helps...otherwise start openmg without plugging ur netmd in and then when ur in the Check In/Check Out tab plug ur unit in2 the USB n c if it can become recognise...if not then i suggest u re-install the drivers dat'l b ur best bet...

i'm 17...parents bought my 1st md unit when i was 13
-
the 11's text scrolling is smooth, kind of like on the display on the r900...itz nice and does'n "jerk" or jump...
-
i also own a N1 but as the others hav said the N1 indeed does NOT hav a backlit display...onli the "illusion" of having 1...the picture that Sony has on the box shows a blue main display is basically due to a bluish refelctive plastic that covers the main LCD...if u look @ the screen from different angles then u would c it as a bit "blue"...otherwise it is just all "creative" photography from Sony...
-
new ATRAC R version??? did u mean ATRAC Type S??? anyway yes the N1's 16x speed in LP2 is a drastic improvement over real-time...it does not transfer @ this speed in a real life situtation however that is just the max it can possibly go...but otherwise itz fast enough...
-
heyy there, u can overcome this problem by using a small simple program called mp3 2 cd that is available here : http://home.online.no/~hpersett/mp32minidi...disc/mp32md.exe it automatically adds a space in between ur songs so the md can pick it up and add another track...it works quite well and it supports some soundcards with optic out also...i don't kno if u can put ur RealPlayer playlist in the program but u can go and check it out... hope this helps... 8) btw if that link is broken can sum1 plz msg me so i can search up a new url 4 ppl 2 d/l the program from...
