So me, you have two computers [the dual monitor/keyboard tipped me off] but you couldn't afford a keen case? Don't tell me that this was your first choice.
-
One MD/Hi-MD device at a time. Can't run multiple copies of Sonicstage nor Simple Burner - or one of each at the same time.
-
Uhm, welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, we don't have any hacks that can make your unit "live longer". If you treat it nicely though, it will.. [thinking to myself - wtf]
-
Did the camera come with software for this purpose? If so, try running it under WINE or a similiar windows emulator.
-
Was this occuring to all CD's or just one? Have you tried restarting? Do you have any other USB devices plugged in?

Qwakrz, if he's just copying the music as data, none of that is relevant.

Just got back and was going to give this a whirl..but this line stopped me cold. What if you right click on the program, go to properties, click on the compatibility tab and select "run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then choose Windows 98/ME in the drop down menu and hit ok?

Nice drawing, Zombietycho! I wish I could sketch like that.

Upgrade to Sonicstage 2.3 @ connect.com.

Welcome to the forums. It's hard for us to really give you a recommendation if we don't know your maximum budget, eh?
-
Don't blame Sony for unique issues resident to your computer only. Many of us have great experiences with Sonicstage in terms of general functionality. You may have viruses, ad-ware or spyware. Read this: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=6621 Additionally, try a control + alt + del after a fresh restart. What's the CPU usage at under the preformance tab?

Welcome to the format! Agh, you should install Sonicstage 2.3..much better for uploading recordings. http://forums.minidisc.org/images/SS23ENG.exe

Latest Sonicstage Without Web Shop - Offline Version
Christopher replied to thomasraden's topic in Software
SS without Connect: http://forums.minidisc.org/images/SS23ENG.exe Major bugfixes seem to include no more botched uploads [i.e. MD to PC]. Program stability seems better as well.. -
Thank you for the note about the search functionality. I shall try and correct this. Additionally, google searching the forum will result in error'd pages for a while as we've recently transitioned to this forum software - causing Google to have a cache of the pre-existing forum threads and what we have now. I hope that made sense.
-
Can someone send me a zip file of the installer to ?
-
Well no shit, this is rad! I'm moving this to the news section. Please e-mail a link to this thread to md-webmaster at minidisc dot org so it can go on the front page.

Sonicstage And Mz-nh700 Reading Mz-r70 Recorded Discs.
Christopher replied to adigio's topic in Software
Hiya, and welcome. You can only upload recordings made with a Hi-MD unit via USB..to upload the R70 recordings, you'll have to adhere to this: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7073 p.s. You should upgrade to Sonicstage 2.3. -
I put in a new logo for the main theme; refresh/reload if necessary. Yes, I'm still on vacation but I got impatient with my image designer. Nonetheless, we also reached a new maximum amount of users on at the same time - 549. What the hell? I just can't believe that, but it's true and it's really overwhelming for me. I just can't thank you guys enough for sticking around here and making this the place that it is. I'll be back on duty in a few days..

Sony does come to the forum. Internal search engine spiders from Sony Japan and USA cache all threads periodically [for digestion, I assume]. Now that we have this new forum software I will assign it a tag like Google/Archive.org/etc have to display such.

Looks like I might be selling the DS8 when I get back..just not seeing any use at all anymore now that I have a NH900. I hate to give up an Auvi, but once you go Hi-MD it's hard to look back.

In heaviest rotation at the moment - Usher's Confessions [i love his music, I used to hang out with his brother all the time back when I lived near Atlanta]

Welcome to the forums. No, it doesn't facilitate mp3 only. You must transcode the music to ATRAC3 only first. Your unit cannot facilitate ATRAC3plus playback..
