  1. Have a great day raintheory, and hope it's a great year, Bob
  2. As I always say sometimes, let your ears be your guide, and if it sounds good enough for what you need, then it is good enough for what you need. I Think, Bob
  3. Hi Tess, If I were me I would spend a few dollars for extra warranty, Sony is pretty good with their warranty, but a little extra time is worth it. Good luck, Bob
  4. Hi Liv, Sounds like your record head wiring is on the fritz. Don't put another disc in until you can be sure the wiring is good. As to getting the "disc back" you can search the archives for "TOC Cloning", but you need a known functioning unit to perform the clone. Are you sure that maybe the record buttion didn't get pushed. As to the program for creating MD's, you can download Sonic Stage from this site, get the latest. Good luck, Bob

For a Mac you will need any of the M series or an RH1 TTFN Bob
  6. I've always just let SS or Simple Burner do it's stuff, no problemo, JMHO Bob
  7. Did you put the disc in right way around?? Good luck, Bob
  8. HI Stuge, Hard question, but I never get tired of Van Morrison or Tangerine Dream Take care, Bob
  9. Take it it a repair facility you trust and see if it can be done for under $50.00. If it is more, you can get a very decent 1st generation, I would go NH 700 or 800 if budget is an issue, NH 1 if it isn't. If you are willing to go for the NH1, you mught as well go all the way and get an RH1. Good luck, Bob
  10. Happy Birthday doclloyd and all, have a good one, Bob
  11. More than likely your record head is getting flaky. Do not use your unit any more, it will start randomly erasing discs. See if an electronics shop can fix the wiring, or get a first generation Hi-MD or an RH1. But above all, do not put anything recorded back into your 707 till it is fixed. Bob
  12. The easiest way to get your MD tracks to puter is an RH1, you cannot digatally upload from a Net MD. As well get the most currant version of Sonic Stage, it will make things easier. Bob
  13. Hi Allison, Welcome, and congratulations on the baby. My advice would be an MZ-nh-700 or 800, they are dependable and have a mic input. You will also have to go with Sonicstage 3.4 or 4, which are available here. With the software there are no limits on uploads of your material, and with the newest you can also make cd's of what you upload. Good luck, Bob
  14. The way I figure it is what I do with a song when I record or download it is my business, and no one elses. It is mind boggling to think that I can record something but not listen to it. These people need a life. Bob
  15. You could also try an NH700 or NH800, they use AA batteries. Good luck on your quest Bob
  16. Have a good one, and hope life brings you joy, Bob
  17. Happy BDAY to ya MZ-NH1, hope all is well, take care, Bob
  18. Not sure what the RG1 goes for in Canada, but if I were me I would go with an RH1 and decent Mics, as the RH1 has Mac capabilities the M100 or 200 doen't make a lot of sense except for the sloghtly better phones and a mic. OTOH the M100 (or it's equivalent non Mac cousin) are pretty good machines) but pale against the RH1. JMHO Bob
  19. Happy Birthday Josieann haven't seen you in the fourums in a while, hope all is well, and hope you have a good one. Bob
  20. Is your battery fully charged? Good luck, Bob
  21. If I were me I would have bought it, seem to remember seeing pictures a while ago, neet unit. Have a fun trip Bob
