Hi Karmen, What device do you have, and what version of Sonic Stage do you have? If any older than 3.4, get at least 3.4, or do to 4.o. There is a setting in 3.4 on creating a disc that lets you vreate an MP3 disc, that may be your easiest method, then transfer the MP3 disc to whatever folder you want. HTH, and welcome, Bob

of undeterminable origin

I was there for the Edmonton version of the concert, absolutely incredible, just waiting for my DVD to arrive. What a great band and show Bob

I have horrible hearing so with the earbuds it's usually in the 20 + area, and with better phones a little less, if I'm in a car or noisy maybe a liitle higher(not high enought to drown out external stimulus noises though) Bob

Could just be picking up when the songs were originally put on the puter, or uploaded into the puter. Probably nothing to worry about, try it a bit more and see what happens. BTW if someone doesn't answer a query immediatel, wait a bit, especially at night when some of our resident experts may be in the land of nod and won't see your question till tomorrow. Good luck on your quest and see what becomes of this TTFN Bob

Glad you got it resolved, I've never had a problem with non-powered, or powered mics on my NH-1, sometimes you have to expe4iment a bit. Happy recording Bob
-
I've got SUSE Linux 8.1 (old I know, but I had it around), seems to have recognized m equipement, haven't had a chance to see what it does with my NH-1 yet, but 7.3 did recognize my 707. The newer Novell-Suse seem to look good, and I have also heard good things about Red Hat. Good luck, Bob

The only way you will get a mic to work with your unit is with a pre-amp, you would to better to try to plug into the mixing board line-out. That is not possible a lot of the time, so your next real choice is getting a unit with a mic input. a 700 or 800 can be got relatively cheaply, but if you can spare the dough, get an RH1, you will like it. Good luck, Bob

Do you have any of the source cd's, try using simple burner, or else try burning a cd of songs that won't transfer to cd and again try simple burner. Try doing a software reset on SS and see what happens. Other than that we will need more info on songs, puter, etc Good luck Bob
-
You don't want to copy the program of SS, you want to copy yhe executable file, you might try saving a download to CD-rom if possible, if not , even though it takes a while, download SS again, and see where it goes, then copy that file, before launching it, onto a CD. Then try to run the executable from the cd, or try to copy the cd back to your puter. Good luck, Bob

Your installation file should be going to some defined folder, call it files, for instance. After the file is installed, you should be able to copy that file to a CD, and then use it when needed. HTH Bob

I would imagine the mods should be able to go to time tracks or something to figure it out. I'm thinking it must have been about 3:00 PM EST when it happened, would be neet to say you were the 100.000 poster. TTFN Bob

Wasn't me as I just got home Bob

Looks like today we will hit 100,000 posts, kind of neet. will be interesting to see who the poster is. TTFN Bob

Have a good one johnnymac, hope it's a good year Bob

Try opening your sound control box and make sure that your line in is checked. Also make sure that your Adobe is set to recognize line in. You should be able to check that from options or tools. Other than that we could use more info like computer, OS etc. HTH Bob

What I'd like to see is Qualia put an RH1 in a stainless steel, bronze, unobtanium, or whatever case, Linux support would be nice, home and car deck would be a plus as well. JMNSHO Bob

You could also try the ATTRAC Colloquiam linked to this site. What problems are you having, someone may still be able to help. Take care, Bob

Great pictures, hope you had a good time Thanks, Bob

Hi There, Unfortunately Windoze ME was one of the most ill concieved OS'S ever released by Microsoft. What are some of the other specs of the computer, speed, ram etc. Best bet would probably be an update to XP, and some more memory. Without more info that's all I can suggest for now. God luck, Bob

See my reply afterwards to give you a more reasonable option. Good luck on getting your music transferred Bob

Probably the least painful alternative is output of 505 to input of sandisk if it can be done

It's still amazing that people get mad at their unit for not doing something it was not meant to do. He knew from when he bought the unit that it did not upload to the computer, the check in does not physically put the track back into the computer, it just erases the usage track (my words, technical term is probably diifferent). Can't wait to get on the Sandisc forum and see the complaints against it by our esteemed poster. Bob
