i got no problems with the tboard...

the head phone itself usually acts as an antenna, move it around maybe to try and get the best reception? the radio reception really depends on where u live, do u have another radio? how is the reception on that radio? when i had the 800, it works well the radio...

as a last resort, u can also try your own suggestion, about using the MD lens cleaner...

i had tried the COWON D2 which uses an SDHC memory expansion card, it works....it gives u additional storage space.

well it would also depend on your computing enviromnent. it should work as long as the drivers are there. it worked for me when I had the RH1, using XP pro. yes, u can use the RH1 as an external drive.

what's there warranty and return policy on the refurbed? refurbed can mean anything, like someone buying it and then return it for some reason...

the 800 never exhibited any of those problems when i had it.

it's a good unit...i like the radio feature of that unit when i had it. another big plus of this unit is that is takes regular AA batteries, which u can pratically find any where. i don't see any NHF 800 units for sale other than maybe ebay. is that where u are getting it from?

a HiMD unit is backwards compatible with MDLP...

is only dead in the USA, still somewhat alive in japan...
