Yes, I started looking on Y-auctions last month. There is a striped unit right now but it lacks the charge stand and the carry bag. I'll keep checking...soon I'll have one.
-
would you be able to get a striped mz-e610 in stock?
-
Does it require a particular usb-cable or will any usb-cable work? In other words do I have to take the cable with me also between home and work or can I use a generic cable already at work?
-
It's inspiring...perhaps I should bottle air and sell it.

I saw the unit in Akihabara last weekend...didn't test it out just looked at it. It is bulky, like a buffalo.

I'd read in a post back in January that some people were having luck with the realplayer md device driver loading to hi-md but that it was slow. I'm on rp 'cause sonicstage didn't catalog music as well when I started my library. I've wanted to make the switch to hi-md but the lack of rp device driver, the desire for a Sharp hi-md, and no sign of a h-md home deck have been my reasons for not yet switching over. I contacted rp in December and they said they would release a driver when 2nd generation hi-md was released...but I think the service rep just wanted to give an answer that sounded good 'cause I have not seen the driver available.

does it work fast?

I don't no of any who ship since I don't have to worry about that. The big department stores, Ishimaru denki, yodobashi camera, and bic camera may ship. Yodobashi has only lowered their price to 22,000 en and is offering 15 % points to your card rather than the standard 10 % of your purchase. Ishimaru denki had their price at 19,800 two weeks ago but the store in Yokohama and in Akihabara both sold out quickly. Not sure about Bic; in my town it is across the street from Yodobashi so it is always an afterthought for me to go in. I did notice that other retailers in Akihabara were matching Ishimaru's price two weekends ago, but since Ishi sold out of theirs, the sole proprietors probably raised the price up a bit since they didn't have to compete.

what is the difference between Sharp and Kenwood? Is Kenny a subsidiary?
-
gonna start looking for 'em tomorrow...
-
I'm confused...I went to that page, clicked on download drivers and it began. I didn't finish since I don't need a driver for the imt880.

Kenwood has a netmd unit kenwood netmd that is similiar to the dr-80---cradle dependent for usb transfer, 8mw headphone output, and same battery life. If this is like other Kenwoods, I own one and coerce my students into letting me play with their different models, it also has four-pole output on the headphones direct from the player. If you go through the remote; it is three-pole output. I've noticed over the past four weeks that dealers around Tokyo and Yokohama are cutting the prices and/or offering double the points on your point card for the dr80. At the beginning of March, the lowest price on an 80 was 24,000 en, now they are going for 19,800 en. Retailers are clearing the dr80 out of inventory; hopefully because something new from Sharp is going to take its place.

depending upon what skin you are viewing this forum in, there is a "downloads" prompt in the upper right hand side which will take you to the drivers for the imt-880. I don't know if they will work with a mac, though.

Mashimaro Limited Ed. 1750mAh NiMH Pictorial
bland10000 replied to Ishiyoshi's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
I'm one of Ishi's converts to the mashimaro. I keep one in all my players because they last longer than the regular gumstick, which gives me the added sense of confidence that my battery won't run out half-way between here and Hakone after a long weekend of hiking and soaking with my 'phones on constantly. -
N910 is a nice unit; it was the hi-end recorder to immediately follow the 10th anniversary edition n10. Perhaps you meant to say transfer rather than download to pc because a recording made on the 910 cannot be put into your 600 and then downloaded to the computer...it can be played in real time and recorded via your soundcard. you should plug the remote in and try...no harm will come to it if it isn't compatible.

Lorne Greene's "western classics" Did you know there are lyrics to the theme song of Bonanza?
-
if you could clarify...your title is asking for an mz-n10 but your post says mz-nh10. There is an mz-n10 model, it is a netmd device. There is no mz-nh10 model.

Old default Refault
-
I still use it 'cause I don't think that much about it and I also use a md forum that has a mustard skin, so coming here is a relief to my eyes. Just looked at the other skins; I like that the old default skin shows a picture of the last file posted for every album in the gallery rather than just the file name that Refault and and the other skins do.

Bargaining4all is from China, not Hong Kong but if you want to avoid customs with a US distributor budget batteries or audiocubes **audiocubes may order from Japan and have it sent to you, as they do that with headphones and players/recorders.

It is quite suitable for me. I frequently incorporate music into my classroom and students ask me for copies of songs/music they have heard. I give out at least three copies a week on disc between my 17 classes; I usually try for a trade but if not--no problem. It doesn't cost me 6.00 usd because I trade using regular discs rather than hi-discs; why trade something with so much unused space remaining. I also do trades via the t-board with other members. The swapping of discs and music exposes me to music I may not hear otherwise and builds on-line friendships. I have little need for music services because I prefer to own hard copy of something I enjoy hearing. I also have a greater latitude in choosing bit-rates by recording from cd than I have if i use an online music service (oms). OMS's give out smaller bit-rates because the majority of customers prefer speed of downloading to higher quality bit-rates, but I'm not part of that majority: and having spent the money for good headphones, low bit-rates sound empty to my ears.
