also non standard windows skins do cause trouble with sonicstage, from grey & non existant buttons to nothing being displayed at all. i concur with the mdac

so when you've had the first problem have done the full install as bnoted in the pinned section of the software support faq? also where do the songs originate, are they cds, mp3s? what are the bitrates? have you tried simple burner? have you tried it *with* a powered USB hub?

happt to say i was wrong, i assumed it was a misprint initially. good to see the now rather elderly 'B' series has conitued, albiet with an external mike & a new name. who know when & were this will arrive first. 'using supplied Hi-MD WAV importer software' suggests to me that there will be a new stand alone wav converter for the mac.

do you mean the hard cases andy? or the actual units? that is an e10 in there & whilst it has a little room that is one small player.

the good news is that mdlp capable players & recorders are fairly cheap on ebay now, what with being doubly [triple?] superceeded.

mdlp, about 180 discs, no recorder anymore but i still love to lusten to them. cd/cdr sometimes i just like to cary around my walkman with cans through the line out & use an md remote. vaio pocket, yet to even break the seal as i'm on holiday & the ups delivered last week. this will consume around 70% of my music listening. most of my audio time is spent with a world band sony ICWS listening to news around the world though

all those who use sonicstage will need to at least bookmark, if not use these boards regularly. tech support from sony is useless & sonicstage is buggy. i [as a new hd player owner] second the suggestion. add it to the o/t other electronics forum, or just start posting any issues, reviews[!] or comments in a thread there. if it shows popularity then you have a better case.

from melbourne, australia. mostly german with some english thrown in although the most recent arrival is at least 5 generations back. my father was a prinicpal, mother a teacher. grew up in a very eductaoinal evironment. melbourne is very cosmapolitan, anglo-saxon with a huge italian/greek & vietnamese twist. makes for great cuisine.
