follow up model to the vaunted nx1 i assume
-
i would go with the rh10 over the nh1 for the screen, additional battery life & mp3 playback as an option.
-
from 3.2? i'd think so.
-
yes a few although the way the albums are now managed is a little counter intuitive
-
happy birthday to one of our newer contributers DaikenTana. have a good one.
-
glad the handbags have been put away now.
-
i'm going to assume he meant sharing files between computers on a local network belonging to the same person, something i have been missing myself from previous versions of sonicstage. apreciate the thought tho lupin. once again though piracy in any form, be it software or high sea is not tollerated in this forum.

thanks for the expanded comments leon, couldn't agree more.
-
i concur with green machine. you also have tried enough music to check that it's not just stereo separation?
-
i do have the atrac3+192 option to the vaio pocket
-
the one i posted & downloaded is english guys! i'm firmly monolingual.
-
tbh the diference is minimal. the 320 has a bit more 'warmth' or 'fullness' but there are no artefacts in the 256 imo. i guess you could say there is more in the soundstage but i'd be hard pressed to care irl. tested with mos def's 'ms fat booty' that sample aretha franklin via soundblaster live -> line out -> ath-a500s
-
can do but it won't play on my pocket afaik
-
perhaps it's my australian accent but i do pronounce A & 8 almost identically a broad aay.
-
well i'm pissed off. some files i'd imported into sonicstage via my desktop i'd deleted to save space then my vaio pocket was refused by the new sonicstage3.2 until i initialised it. so i will now have to reimport 5-8gigs of mp3s into sonicstage, retag some, reorganise album covers &c. http://www.aii.co.jp/contents/sonic/_data/...geInstaller.exe
-
yes it does.
-
having allready installed 3.2 over the top of 3.1 i was alarmed to learn i had to initialise my vaio pocket to use it. htis will be at best an inconvenience, at worst you may need to use the backup tool or reimport any music you'd deleted of the computer [hypothetically of course, bastards].

seems very like 3.1. i do like the little intro at the start explaining the dif. between the sorting in versions prior to 3.1. with the english version omgjbox encoding cd->atrac3+256kbs without DRM is using 80,000k of memory
-
you can order the songs with artist/album. look at the left side of sonicstage there will be some view options. one sorts albums by album name & one will do as you desire.
-
travelin, have you considerred or attempted to record them in analog? there is a wonderful free/gnu program in our downloads section called 'audacity' that will record & allow editing.
-
wrath? i can read DAP review but the comments are way beyond my 'care' threshold

im not going to delete this thread, it's been informative. however as Tachikoma points out software piracy is not permitted in any form.
-
whilst i'm sorry that sonicstage has been terrible for you a little more research might have put your woes to bed. i had problems with ompenMG, like many others, so i joined up at this community, read all i could then had a happy time, despite occasional uninstall/reinstalls. whilst sony's support for below average software is reprehensible the community support always was/is first rate. check out the archives of people for whom a problem has been solved by asking around here. if you change your mind eggit we'll still be here.

there has been some talk of these units but not this much info. thanks for the link.
