  1. all my sonys have worked really well up to now
  2. nh1 for general build quality, though the ergomics of the unit itself is horrible, the remote makes up for it all
  3. go for a nh1 or such you wont be impressed by the 2nd gen. units' build quality
  4. very nice, are they heavy at all?
  5. sorry, but so far only sony makes blank hi-md discs. i suspect that theres something that sony has implemented to keep other companies from sharing this new medium
  6. then again, most md players these days dont have a display on them... something else that needs to be changed
  7. flash players appeal more to the market because they're smaller though
  8. go nh1 if you dont need native mp3 support
  9. nh1 plugs into a cradle that then is attached to the power adapter, however it cannot be connected to the computer and be in the cradle at the same time.
  10. mostly playback, occasional recording when i have the time
  11. current- nh1 used daily for the commute into and out of the city
  12. tried most of my phones or borrowed from friends before i actually bought them in addition, J&R in the city [new york] offers a wall where you can try on most of the headphones they offer anyone else?
  13. for all headphones in general, good fit is a virtue, even if the headphones are really good, you wont notice how good it ais you're finnicking with the headphones with improper fit try before buying
  14. i highly doub the system to be a "bass monster" as it is onkyo, and emphasizes accurate sound reproduction over anything else

  17. glad you feel the way you do, and welcome to the forums
  18. possibly, but i found that on the nh1 if you pull out the remote and just use the nh1 by itself, it wont use the setting that you set on the remote such as repeat, shuffle, etc.
  19. i dont see the point to the dimunitive 1.3 megapixel camera and the bulk of the dh10 in addition to the price, so i would have to say go for the rh10
